Great bartenders
Gibran, Victor, Alain and Louis are the bests bartenders in the world. They make amazing drinks, they give attentive service. Very nice and funny. They give good advice of what to do on the resort and in cancun, through the resort. Very kind people I will come again for these kind people.

We had an absolute blast the the Margaritaville Island Reserve resort. Loved the small size of the resort. It was very easy to get everywhere, no need to wait for a golf cart to haul you a half mile away to your dinner reservation like some of the larger resorts. We went with 5 other couples and had no problem finding each other if we wanted to or just meeting at the Salted Rim for some pre-dinner cocktails at the end of the day if we wanted to be alone. The lunch and service at Landshark and License to Chill was good, but when I go to a Karisma resort I have become accustomed to "very good to fantastic". I won't say I was disappointed, but I've experienced better at other Karisma resorts. Dinners at Frank and Lola's and JWB Steakhouse were very good. Our beach front romantic dinner (that was moved to a private room in Frank & Lola's due to weather) was AMAZING! Kudo's to our young chef who came out to greet us. He is top notch. Room service was prompt 5/6 times, 30 minutes or less. One time it took an hour. Always fresh and well presented with friendly servers. The pool bars were understaffed. Again, at other Karisma resorts we've been spoiled with prompt, friendly service with a smile. Many days the pool bartenders rarely even made eye contact. It frequently took awhile to get a drink and they weren't as outgoing and energetic as we've experienced at other Karisma resorts. The Salted Rim was a very nice lounge. We frequently went there either before or after dinner to enjoy a well prepared cocktail. We had a swim up room and at other Karisma resorts servers would come by our area when we were outside in the water. Either they were understaffed or this is not a service they offer at Margaritaville. We missed it. Having pickleball courts was an added bonus that we very much enjoyed. We brought our gear and enjoyed play on a few different mornings. BRX transportation service was prompt and had good drivers who were friendly. They were easy to locate at the airport. When 8 of us arrived together they went out of their way to get us all on the same transport. Enrique and Mariel were our butlers and we can't say enough about them. They attended to our every need and even to needs we didn't even realize we had. They located us each day early in their shifts to check in on us and again before their shifts ended to see if there was anything else they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and will very likely return.

Great Experience...will be back...AGAIN!
Outstanding service from start to finish. Great property! Clean and well maintained. This was our 2nd visit in the past 6 months and same experience both times. Christian in the lobby made sure we had the right plans in place. Enrique and Muriel took care of us from 7am to 11pm...felt like royalty and kept going above and beyond from ice in the room to reservations and everything in between.

Johan made the trip absolutely fabulous!!! He is the best!!! Seek him out if you want to have the highest quality care while there!!! Friendly, knowledgeable, caring - couldn’t ask for more. He is really that awesome!!! He made thoughtful tailored recommendations and made sure everything exceeded our high expectations!
