Great location, poor service for level of hotel
I would like to put this in to perspective. I stay at Marriott’s branded hotels all over the world. In 2024 I stayed at 228 different Marriott branded properties all over the world. This property has a great location and beautiful views, and the pools and beach are nice. That is the only positive thing I can say. Now for the ugly. The service is so bad that I can’t even describe it. From the check in personal to management to pool staff, not friendly or helpful. I had two incidents. First was someone used our room number to order food. I reported this incident and it was not taken care of. The reason this was a problem, is that if you are charging something to your room they ask out loud what your room number and name are. So anyone within an ear shot can hear. Second was breakfast. We had breakfast included and the server argued that we did not. I had to leave the table and go all the way to check in and spend 10 min talking to check in staff before they corrected the situation. These were the big issues. There were too many little issues and rudeness to describe. All I can say is for the price point the service and problems are not worth it. Take it from a traveler that spends their life in hotels.

Stunning Views, but Problematic
This was our first trip to St. Thomas, and we stayed at the Westin for 4 nights. Arrival/Departure: We got there around noon, way before check-in time, but it wasn’t a problem since we had access to all the facilities and restaurants. After dropping off our bags with the attendant, we grabbed lunch, and not long after we ordered, we got a call saying our room was ready. We were super grateful we could settle in early. Beach/Pools: The beach was gorgeous, but there weren’t many chairs or spots with shade, so I’d suggest getting there early if you want an umbrella. The pools were clean, and we loved having the adults-only section to relax in. Rooms: The good. We stayed in room 3208 on the 2nd floor of the Sea Cliff Tower. As soon as we walked in, we were blown away by the gorgeous views. The peacefulness of the cove instantly helped us relax. The rooms had been recently remodeled, so everything had a fresh feel. The bad. The A/C worked, but it was super loud at times. The fridge had the same issue—it was fine most of the time, but then would suddenly make a loud noise for a few minutes. One night, an alarm started going off in the hallway around 1:00 am and didn’t stop until 6:30 am. It made for a rough night’s sleep. Housekeeping skipped our room 2 of the 4 days. I am curious if we needed to request a daily refresh. The ugly. The water pressure in the bathroom was really bad. The cold water in the sink was barely a drip, but the hot water wasn’t even hot, so we just dealt with it. The shower had terrible pressure too, which made rinsing off a pain. One night, we were brushing our teeth and the water pressure totally cut out—thankfully, we had bottled water to finish up. Also, the sink faucet was super short, so every time we washed our hands, water would splash all over the counter. It might sound petty, but it got frustrating. Restaurants: Hotel restaurants can be pricey, and the Westin St. Thomas was no different. When you arrive, the hostess will ask if you want flat or sparkling water, and they’ll bring you a bottle—just so you know, it’s $10. After the first lunch, we just asked for ice water or drank from our refillable bottles. A burger and a cocktail will set you back about $40 per person, plus tip. We ordered room service one night and felt a bit ripped off. The menu said there was a $5 delivery fee and that gratuity was included, but we got charged two $5 delivery fees, a 22% IRD fee (which we thought was supposed to cover the tip), and then the gratuity wasn’t included at all. The food at the restaurants was good, but honestly, nothing to write home about. We did check out a restaurant at Havensight, which was cheaper, but a taxi there—just 1.3 miles from the Westin—cost $9 per person, so it kind of ended up being the same price when all was said and done. Staff: The staff were super friendly and courteous throughout the hotel, but they didn’t really check in with you. You had to make an effort to get their attention, if that makes sense. I'm giving the hotel a 3-star rating. While the views were absolutely stunning and really lifted my spirits, the problems with the water pressure and the high prices for pretty average food just left us feeling underwhelmed overall.

Pool bar- Kyndra
If you’re staying and not hanging out with KYNDRA at the pool bar, you’re missing out! Great drinks, local recommendations, and a genuine sweetheart. She made our trip! We loved the infinity pool. All the food on site was great. Beautiful accommodations and views. Wonderful trip.

Beautiful Views at the pool bar
We stayed at the Buoy House but enjoyed our time and experience at the Westin Pool/Bar. Beautiful views and great drinks. The bartender Melanie was top notch! She remembered our family from day to day and the drinks we had. Also, She went above and beyond for our family checking to make sure the gluten/dairy free pizza we ordered was prepared properly while still making sure everyone was taken care of at her bar! Excellent customer service!!

Amazing Vibe
What a great place, good people amazing service and food. The Edge Bar is the best, Kyndra is amazing. If she isn’t the manager, she should be. I hire her to run our restaurants in California in a second.. It’s rare to find someone on the environment that will take the time to cater to the needs of each guest. Very impressive
