Beautiful property. Super friendly staff!
This resort has a lot going for it: It's located right on the beach with sunset views of the Rock of Gibraltar and the mountains of Morocco in the distance; it's beautifully landscaped with multiple pools; and our two-bedroom villa was spacious with enjoyable balcony views. It also sports a lot of facilities for kids and a roomy indoor pool and spa. The front desk resort staff deserve 5 stars! They were exceptionally warm, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. When we called to ask if we could get softer pillows (we found the ones in the rooms were overly thick and firm) they delivered feather pillows promptly. Tommaso Cardin, the concierge, was truly a gem, spending more than an hour helping us plan and book our week of outings. He couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. The downside of the resort is that it's located far away from everything. And the onsite-dining was uninspiring. There's a nearby Aldi but the restaurant choices are very limited nearby without having to take an extended cab ride. The resort is located about 50 minutes and a € 120 cab ride from the Malaga airport. So outings back to Malaga, and nearer-by Puerto Banus, and Marbella were costly. We took three excursions from the hotel, one to the countryside in Ronda, one to Gibraltar and one to Tangier, Morocco. We can say, the tours arranged through the Marriott concierge desk were very professional, comfortable and a good value — we can definitely recommend them and believe they were much better than what we found through Viator, for instance. All in all, we enjoyed a wonderful week in Spain. The people in Spain were all very friendly, the country side and the Costa del Sol were charming. And since the Marriott was a timeshare exchange, it ended up being very affordable. Others we spoke with said the Marriott property in Marbella was a bit more convenient if you're going to Malaga and points East. Compared to American resorts, though, this one was one of our favorites. We would definitely return here!

Idyllic, pure relaxation!
This is relaxed but seriously 5 Star. The staff are wonderful, friendly, efficient, professional and so welcoming. They make your stat so relaxing and memorable. The resort is meticulously maintained, from the multiple pool areas to the beautiful gardens.

Great on the beach resort, great staff
Fabulous week! This is our second time here, beautiful resort, stayed in a 2 bed suite, had everything we needed, the staff really can't do enough and want you to have a good time. Special thanks to Antonio, who organised many of the activities, we enjoyed the bingo and quiz! Won several prizes! He really is great fun, my grandson also enjoyed basketball, darts and football. Great resort on the beach, several beautiful pools and a great indoor pool, has a day spa, which we've used before, but not this time. We had a hire car and went out several times. We also ate in some of the lovely restaurants recommended by Marriott, owners can get discounts off these. We also had meals and drinks at the pool bar, they do a happy hour! Recommend Chilis restaurant which is Tex Mex and Indian! Enjoy!

A perfect escape from the snowstorms in Marriott Playa Andaluza, Estepona
Spacious, quality 6 persons villa with excellent food, drink and activities facilities available on site. My family of 4 really enjoyed the free health and fitness and yoga classes of Cristina and my wife and daughters loved the Spanish cuisine class during our stay. It’s been 21-24°C in wonderful sunshine here whilst snowstorms have descended on our UK home - a perfect escape in Playa Andaluza!

Fantastic hotel - spacious rooms, loads of activities and friendly staff
This is our third trip to this venue with our family. There was 10 of us. 6 in one room and 4 in the other Rooms - the rooms are spacious and clean and work really well with a family who has a lot of toys and eat a lot of food Activites - This hotel is perfect for kids. A fantastic pool with a slide, Table Tennis, activities court, volleyball, mini golf and a kids club. This year especially the activity team appeared to have upped their game and the bingo, quiz and halloween party were highlights of the trip. Location - Based just outside of Estepona, the hotel is 10mins from the main road which has a bus which will take you either direction to Puerto Banus, Malaga or the other way Estapona central. It's about 1 hour away from Malaga airport but that's not a problem as the road is straight and easy to navigate. The only reason this time I have made this stay a 4* is that on the last night our room was situated closely to the activities court where some teenagers were playing and at the end ~11pm they thought it would be funny to bang on our door waking my 3 rd old daughter and scaring her putting a damper on the trip. Not much the hotel can do except maybe switching the lights off earlier on some of the activity area. We have already booked back next year as its the perfect place for kids to enjoy themselves safely.
