First, the pictures on this page do very well showing everything (rooms, restaurants, scenery and amenities). If you like what you see, experiencing it is better! Our first interaction with guest services was great. Welcoming, caring and willing to help with any questions about the facility. Our room, as described a suite with two beds. The room was good with all that you need. The room service is also great! As we saw the map of the facility, there is a lot to do with many options for snacks, drinks and activities. Note, we are a couple that likes to walk and experience the grounds. It is such a beautiful place and spending the 10 minutes to walk to the beach was nice! If you don’t like to walk, no problem there is a transport system. Breakfast, lunch and dinner Buffets are great! Restaurants are great! We don’t drink much but the selection was great! This is the family resort so they do have a splash zone. This is the best splash pad area and pool we have ever seen. Highly recommended. Special note; to reserve your nightly restaurant of choice, you must go to a designated person that is only available at 9 am to 3 pm, this is a long line. It is recommended to go a person like Jose Polanco our concierge. They will help you with anything including reserving restaurant reservations. Overall experience, great! We hope to be back soon!

We have just arrived back from a fabulous holiday here. We did upgrade to the level which gives a much better experience. Our concierge was Lorenzo and he did really look after us. Everything for us was perfect. The room was lovely and spacious, and the bed was huge and comfy. I think the rooms could do with an update and the toilet door a little more private. Overall, I think the hotel is only a 5 star if you upgrade to the Level. The food I thought was great and plenty of choice but again that could be because we were staying in the Level.

10 day winter vaca at Melia Caribe resort
grounds, rooms, service, beach and variety of food all Great ask for pamphlet of activities when you arrive; reserve your spot at the beach or pool by 8 am or you may not get a seat(s); beach is clean and you can walk 1/2 hr in each direction easily, lots of water activities, bring small denominations of US funds for tipping or Dominican pessos, great for family or adults

Beautiful resort
Visited this resort for a trip with friends. Upon check in, we met Alam as our concierge contact. He accompanied us on the short ride to our room where he explained to us in detail the lay-out of the resort as well as all the amenities that came along with our level booking. Alam also gave us his contact so we could reach out if needed for any reason during our stay. The resort was beautiful and very spacious. Bring comfortable sandals so you can enjoy walks at night from the main lobby where most of the bars and restaurants are near. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Alam was a wonderful resource throughout our trip and quick to respond to any questions we had. He even surprised us with a thoughtful surprise in our room as we were also were celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary. We look forward to our next trip!
