Worst hotel experience
We stayed for 1 week at the Nickelodeon hotel and it was the worst experience we could’ve had. The food was awful and basic, the service by staff was terrible, unhelpful, and disappointing. None of them cared about the guests, seemed like they didn’t want to work there and they seemed lazy and not caring or willing to assist hotel stayers. Hotel rooms were kept unclean until 4:30pm most days, even though we’d left the room by 7am most days. They couldn’t cater for dietary requirements. If you’re vegetarian do not come to this hotel as everything is mostly meat related. There were no options nearby or outside the hotel for food or shopping, it’s a derelict place.

Worst resort!!!
I would totally avoid this place if I can. I was just there in December 2024 to celebrate my daughter bday. Let’s start with airport. People are super rude at the immigration desk. Then we arrive at the hotel at 1:30. Check in desk was busy and poor service. We waited over hour to get the room. The room that was not even ready till 3:30. On the first day, they guide didn’t even tell us anything about the excursions or restaurants. We kinda just found everything on our own. Let’s talk about food. Food sucks here. Buffet has same food every single day. It’s so tasteless. Most of their plates and cups had the weird smell, like it’s not completely dry. Only one restaurant, Italian restaurant had good food but service is so awful and horrendous. Only one restaurant requires reservation which is interstellar(space restaurant) but we didn’t know that till 3rd day and it was already booked. You can’t make reservation from the phone app. The room service food is little better tasting but it’s either hit or miss. They might miss out on the stuff you ordered. Next, they try to sell you hotel deal with package you over 100k. Basically it’s lifetime travelling deal with the same hotel or other hotels in the chain. But this requires 90 mins class and they will force you to buy their business deal. I didn’t opt in to do any business with them. The only perk after 90 mins of boring meeting, 20% discount on excursions and free spa session. Internet: the worst Internet on the planet. Super slow. In the afternoon around the pool area , they ran out of alcohol for few hours and would only serve beer. Checkout process was awful too. We told them to get cake for our daughter which never happened. During the checkout process, they made a huge deal. I would never stay here again. Def would recommend other resorts Over this. Watch you tube videos. If the resort looks good in the video then go far if. This didn’t give me the vibe but I did it for my kids.

Horrible stay!
We just got back from Nickelodeon punta cana Thursday after staying there for 4 days. There were quiet few things i noticed that made me quiet disappointed. 1. The beach is not well maintained. It just seemed like a just a random beach not clean. People from other resorts were walking in asking us whats the name of our resort.. kinda scared me. 2. I have GOT to mention their service. Omg it was so bad. I dont know if they are under staffed or what. But the service was bad everywhere we went. Room service took Hours and kept Getting our orders wrong or kept forgetting something. Same Exact thing in restaurants. The waiters barely come to check if we need water or drinks. We still tipped no matter what every-time we ate or for room service. But extremely disappointed. No staff every greets you or they dont even smile. Its like they dont even care about customer service. 3. Whenever we go on resort vacations we almost never want to leave but this time we wish we left one day early because there was NOthing to do. They dont have any kids activities planned outside Of the kids club where parents arent even allowed expect 12 to 2pm. That time its just free play nothing planned. There is No outdoor activities for kids except face painting (also the products they use gave my 4 years of rash all over her face. So we didnt end up getting it done nxt few days we stayed. It was basically boring. We only liked the pool. But besides the pool we were just extremely disappointed. 4. Definitely not leaving out one of most important aspects if the vacation which is FOOD. We paid a hefty amount for this resort. I will be truthful when i say the food was horrible to the Max. We ate at the same food every single day for 5 days straight at the buffet for breakfast and lunch. I was at a point we ended up skipping Meals because it was getting absolutely ridiculous and repetitive. They didnt have chocolate milk, out of yogurt few Meals… same Cookies everyday. We went to eat at the space walker they didnt have half the menu… everytime i wanted order “we dont have that available.” We wanted to order dessert wasnt available either. They just handed a random dessert. Next dinner we went to eat at wok wok food wasnt good which i expected at that point of the trip. But i just needed different food cuz i was tired of the same breakfast same lunch everyday. Same thing, few items of the menu wasnt available plus the dessert not available. Again they just gave us a random dessert. Another worse part of the trip was the air conditioning wasnt working. Day time it was nightmare so we stayed out all day every day keeping our self busy. Because at night (weather) it cools down since its December. Luckily we took the ocean view suite which is practically all Open with balcony sliding doors. Lots of air at night. I liked the view alot but the room was very small for a a suite i paid so much extra for. No bathtub. Just shower. We called for the air conditioning technician he came said he fixed it but didnt work. Nxt day they said they are working on it, still didnt fix it. This is supposed to be resort for kids. This resort had nothing for kids not even a proper condiments bakery. Zero candy or chocolates were available. We have stayed in other resorts which wasnt even for kids yet they has so much kids stuff planned. This was really a not a good experience. Will not be returning will not be recommending.

SALES MALPRACTICES and POOR SERVICE. Families with small kids please avoid this resort
I am at the airport and just left from a week long vacation at Nickelodeon resort punta cana and cant wait to post a review to state how pathetic was the experience . Room 2110 family of 5 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 1 and 1 kid aged 9) Ideal rating: 0/5 1. They indulge into false sales malpractices and will pitch you a free character breakfast in return of the 1.5 hours presentation of their packages. ITS A TRAP, please don't fall for it as at the time of checkout they will CHARGE YOU IN FULL. We were promised by their sales representative a free character breakfast for 2 adults and 2 infants with only charge to be applied for our son with 20% discount so we anticipated to pay only 65$. I asked him thrice the final amount and he confirmed it will be total 65$ after the promotion. The sales guy Rafael who promised this promotion was himself present at the time of checkout and told them about the deal but the staff instead of apologizing for wrong information given to us said we cant do anything you have to pay in full for 4 people and just gave us 1 person free. After a lot of argument nothing changed and we left as we were getting late for our flight. Such a shame on them for lying on our faces just to lure us to attend their presentation by promising a false promotion and prices. 2. Room service is pathetic they take atleast 90-120 mins to fulfill an order. On day we had to walk in person to the manger to escalate this as we had ordered for beer and water and it took them 2 hours to deliver even after an escalation. 3. It is not an ideal place for kids aged 2 or below as there are not any activities to engage them except the splash pad. Nick club is for 4 and above and their other indoor play area is for 3 and above. Water park is not appropriate for kids this small.

An honest review
Nickelodeon Punta Cana Resort Review The Nickelodeon Punta Cana Resort provides a blend of conveniences and drawbacks, offering some enjoyable amenities while falling short in several key areas. Here’s a comprehensive review: Positives: Beautiful Beach: The beach is stunning, with clear waters and soft sand that create a relaxing environment. Warm, Clean Pools: The pools are well-maintained and enjoyable for both adults and children. Delicious Treats at The Sweetery: The pastries and ice cream are consistently excellent and a highlight for many guests. Nice Rooms: Rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, providing a great place to unwind. Walkable Resort: The resort is fairly small, allowing you to walk everywhere with ease. For added convenience, they offer shuttle rides with a few stops to make getting around even faster. Negatives: 1. Food Quality and Availability: Food is inconsistent—some meals are delicious, but others are underwhelming. While you’ll always find something to eat, the quality is a hit or miss. Restaurants frequently run out of certain menu items, which can be frustrating. Premium alcohol is available only at an additional cost, which feels excessive for a resort of this caliber. 2. Snick Lounge Arcade: The arcade is overpriced, with only a few free games for kids. Most require expensive tokens, making it feel more like a cash grab than a family-friendly attraction. The bar in the lounge often runs out of certain alcohol or can’t prepare specific drinks. 3. Limited Entertainment and Activities: The theater is very small with limited seating, making it difficult to enjoy shows. The resort’s marketing as a kid-friendly destination feels misleading, as there are almost no beach activities for children. During a 9-day stay, only one beach activity was organized. 4. Water Park Challenges: The lazy river at the water park has very few floaties, and getting one is a challenge. Bringing your own is highly recommended to avoid frustration. 5. Character Interactions: The character breakfast is extremely overpriced at approximately $400 CAD for a family of four unless you attend a timeshare presentation for coupons. Character appearances are rushed and lack personalization. Guests line up for a quick photo and are hurried along. There are no spontaneous interactions with characters throughout the resort, which diminishes the experience for kids. 6. Noise Issues: Swim-out rooms come with a warning from staff not to use them after 7 p.m. due to potential noise complaints, which can be disappointing for families wanting to enjoy them fully. Hallways carry a lot of noise, making it loud when other guests are walking to and from their rooms. 7. Overpriced Stores: The Nickelodeon-themed stores are highly overpriced, making it hard to justify buying souvenirs or essentials for kids. Final Thoughts: The Nickelodeon Punta Cana Resort has its strengths, including a beautiful beach, clean pools, delicious treats, and a walkable layout enhanced by shuttle service. However, the resort falls short in areas like inconsistent food, overpriced amenities, limited kid-friendly activities, and rushed character experiences. For families expecting a magical Nickelodeon-themed vacation, the experience may feel underwhelming. While the resort has potential, it doesn’t consistently deliver the value or excitement that its branding suggests.
