If you want to make a reservation here? Please reconsider. You’re really just paying for the name, Nickelodeon, and nothing else. The highlight of this resort is the water park (which is just okay) and meeting the characters and that’s really all you’re paying for. The kids activities and indoor kids areas are all so underwhelming, it’s actually ridiculous. My family and I stayed at the Grand Moon Palace in Cancun a few years ago which was a much better experience. The only pro I have for this hotel is the service from the everyday staff (restaurant staff, drivers, etc). The front desk staff is the absolute worst and will try to scam you. I had the worst experience during both the check-in and check-out process. I checked out today and I questioned a charge on my room and the front desk rep, Enrique, told me “be careful going back on your transportation”. I asked him several times what he meant because it seemed like a threat and he didn’t want to elaborate. I actually recorded this conversation which I will obviously escalate further. Also, another front desk representative asked that I use the same signature as my passport which was very odd to me. Oh, and most of the food is disgusting. And if you’re trying to leave a review on TripAdvisor while there, you can’t because they block that website which is so shady. I read a few reviews prior to arriving that mentioned the same thing but I witnessed that for myself. I asked the front desk why that’s the case and they tried to play dumb and said they didn’t know. Pro tip - just simply disconnect from their WiFi, leave the review, and then rejoin the WiFi

This resort surpassed our expectations! Of course we booked here for our son who took one look at the water park and went nuts. Our expectations were that of a Disney-like resort - all about characters and all about the kids. The difference (aside from the characters and caribbean location) was that we received highly personalized service at no extra cost. So here are the pros: The resort was extremely well kept and very clean. The service was the best we’ve ever experienced in any hotel chain geared toward children (and I’m comparing that to Disney, Universal, Beaches, Hard Rock, Meliá, Royal Caribbean, and other great vacation chains). Everyone was super friendly, accommodating, and rapid acting. Every request was rapidly fulfilled and then confirmed by another person to ensure that the result was to our liking. Requests were handled through our concierge via WhatsApp and Victor was phenomenal! He got us a room upgrade and a really late check out. Check in was faster than most all inclusive resorts thanks to Alberto. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had amazing water pressure, and there were kid sized robes and slippers. The majority of the staff spoke English and the TV had a few English speaking channels. The room was cleaned every day and the mini bar was well stocked with snacks and water bottles, as well as, other drinks. The room was spacious and had two bathrooms! We had a swim up room on the second level initially (which had a great view of the ocean) but were upgraded to the bottom level on day two where the swim up led into a bigger pool with a pool bar opposite our room. The pool was low-key, which was nice after a day of being at the waterpark. The spa was also amazing -very luxurious, extremely well kept, and the relaxing massage was awesome! Thank you, Molly! My son didn’t partake, but there was a pretty awesome sounding menu of kid’s spa treatments. We had no problems getting seats at the waterpark, the pool, or on the beach. The waterpark was extremely clean and not crowded. There were many slides and slides for all ages. Wait time was only the time it took you to climb the steps of the slide. The lazy river made our family’s top 3 lazy river list! There were, however, a couple of cons: 1. The building with the rooms is not attached to the main lobby or the waterpark - you need transportation to get from one to the other. Transportation did come frequently, but needing it was an annoyance especially since people with wet bathing suits were riding in the same vehicles as those dressed up for dinner. 2. The food was less than impressive. The hashbrowns at the breakfast buffet were the best thing they served on the property. They offered Poké bowls in the waterpark, which were decent and a nice alternative to the traditional fried and fatty foods offered. On the bright side, we saved a lot on calories. On the topic of food, the resort was very allergy conscious. There wasn’t an allergen free menu like Disney or Beaches but the staff did ask and advise appropriately. It would be nice if they added a few nut free dessert options given the growing number of nut allergic kids. 3. The beach is very small and there is only a sliver of rock free ocean floor, but the water was beautiful. We really can’t comment on the entertainment because we didn’t attend any of the shows. There is an outdoor theater for nightly performances at 8 PM and two kids/adult lounges with later night activities. We did purchase the private slime package which was cute and a must just because it’s a Nickelodeon resort! We stayed three nights and four days, which was the perfect amount of time. We’d definitely recommend this experience!

This trip was amazing! The property is beautiful, the staff is so friendly, the food in all of the restaurants is delicious and the activities were so much fun. My son had the time of his life celebrating his 25th birthday.

Family fun and bonding
This was my family and I first time going and we had a great time! Our Butlers Daniel and Stephany were awesome! They made sure we had everything that we needed and if there was an issue they took care of it ASAP, they definitely went above and beyond for us!

Great experience thanks to wonderful concierge.
We really enjoined our stay. Rooms are nice and spacious, food was delicious, hotel and water park are amazing. Special thanks to concierge Ivan for going extra mile and helping us having an unforgettable experience! He is absolutely incredible person! Thanks everyone at the hotel, staff is absolutely fantastic!
