    Pick another resort

I usually do not take reviews to seriously, but we wish we had for this trip. The resort itself is lovely, rooms are quite nice with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The maid service is hit or miss, some days you got towels and other days we had to go ask for towels. Same with stocking refrigerator and coffee supplies. Tipping does not even seem to make a difference. The main pool was nice, but after 3 days they took all the umbrellas away and it was extremely HOT! Their response was it was too windy. Only the last 2 days we were there was it really windy. Once the shade was gone, we had to retreat to our room or lobby area. Yes there are many stairs, but we found ways around some of them, but you can also call for a golf cart ride, so wasn't that big of a deal. The smaller pool by the beach needs a good cleaning, only went there once. Beach is nice but open to locals selling all kinds of things and when the tide comes in the beach is gone. Now for the absolute worst part of this resort, the FOOD!! We have never, in 30 years of visiting various all inclusives, had such horrible, tasteless, repetitive and unappetizing food. There were times when I could hardly find something to eat. Breakfast wasn't too bad, lunch was not good, even snack bar near pool was not good. Your best bet is the specialty restaurants that we could always find a nice dinner at. I guess from now on we will take reviews a little more serious.

    Beautiful area

We had a good time. The resort is beautiful but it has a lot of steps. They offer transport to the beach from lobby. We didn’t use it but offered. The food was okay.

    Grandma's Resort

This resort is for the retired who does not want tondo much activities and who do not care about the lackkod entertainment on the resort. The food was fair. And that's being nice. It definitely could have been better. For all inclusive the fridge in the room had just 2 beers. We had to call for soda. 2 guests in the room and they gave 1 of each soda. No alcohol was in the room. Very disappointing. This resort is for the retired. Young adults or adventurous travelers need NOT to stay here. It was BORING and lackluster. I feel cheated. I don't feel like I got my money's worth. The best servoce was the shuttle. Always available and friendly. Jill in the restaurant was very nice. However the servers are not attentive and very forgetful when asking for beverages. This place gets 1-2 stars.

    very poor!

I do NOT recommend this resort. The staff was not trained properly, did not clean the room thoroughly, did not replace towels. The a/c in the room and the safe needed maintenance. I had a medically urgent situation and the staff did not speak english nor did they care about helping me find care! I was told they could accomodate my dietary needs and they did NOT.
