Great place to stay
Two large, great pools. Daily activities run by the staff. Really liked those. Great beverage and soft serve ice cream readily available. Beachside restaurant is also pretty good. Rooms were decent, but not great. The staff here are very friendly. The nighttime shows Are also pretty good, but a notch below the bigger sized resorts. The food is a four out of five. Again, likely because of the midsize of this resort compared to the larger ones. Otherwise, a very decent place to stay. Could easily stay here again. The one big downside is that there are sales people who are masquerade as your butlers or servers, who were actually trying to get you into a timeshare. They will lobby you persistently until you given. That was the major downside to this resort.

Terrible experience
The experience began poorly with the reception process, taking us two hours just to check in. None of the staff, including room service and restaurant employees, spoke a single word of English, making communication extremely difficult. There was no drinking water provided in the room, despite repeated requests over two days. Towels were also not changed during this time. My daughter became ill after eating at the hotel’s Route 66 restaurant and vomited throughout the night. We called the front desk for water at 10:00 PM, but even after multiple calls, we didn’t receive it until 11:00 AM the next day. When we requested food to be delivered to our room for our sick daughter, who fell ill due to the restaurant’s poor food quality, the hotel supervisor insisted on charging us for room service, showing no empathy or courtesy for a sick child. We were assigned a room on the third floor in a hotel with no elevators. This caused my wife, who has asthma, to suffer an attack from repeatedly climbing the stairs. The staff showed no concern or understanding for our situation throughout our stay. Air conditioning was not working too! Terrible hotel

Another great visit to Ocean Blue and Sand
A great family resort where everybody there works hard to make your stay memorable to the best. Our third visit here, Food: mostly great to good Pools: warm clean water with plenty space Bars: friendly staff. Great drinks, you will get top shelf alcohol if you are members or Privilage Rooms: for the second time we got a good room facing garden(I.e. wall view) House keeping: good and efficient. Beach: one of the best features of this resort. Blue ocean with warm water and white sand. Once you are in the water, you don’t want to leave the ocean😁 All restaurants have dress code to some degree so you must enter the restaurant decently clothed. One restaurant where the dress code is strictly implemented is French Restaurant (Blue moon) where men are required long pants. We had 3 kids, 2, 4 and 6 years old with us and they had a good time there. There is a daisy club for kids 4 years and older where our kids loved it. Mosquitoes: yes! I got 10s of bites while others in our group were saved! Invisible mosquitoes are everywhere. OFF did not help me. Will return: for sure!

Below average experience
Average to say the least. Staff is very rude and unfriendly. Unless you speak Spanish maybe. Pros: beach is nice, plenty of beach chairs. Food is like 4 star hotel the most. Entertainment team is not good and passive compare to other resorts in Punta Cana. Not coming back here for sure

Not happy
The hotel itself is amazing, with great food and a beautiful beach. However, the customer service is terrible, starting from check-in. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude and lazy. It doesn’t feel like you’re walking into a 4-star or 5-star establishment. Additionally, the staff in the café are incredibly slow and show no respect for guests. Almost everyone seems to be complaining or distracted, and the staff appear to ignore them. I would never return to this hotel. Furthermore, there was broken glass in the room, and the telephone didn’t work. When I called reception, they assured me someone would come to clean it, but even after a whole day, no one showed up. It was very dangerous for my kids, so I had to clean it myself
