Needs maintenance
The couch was filthy, jacuzzi on porch didn’t have hot water, jacuzzi in room had stopper that didn’t hold water. Sink was missing a drain stopper. Ladies room at lighthouse was missing a toilet seat. Restrooms by Steakhouse wouldn’t flush. Good was mediocre.

El Beso at Oceans el Faro Privilege
We enjoyed our stay on the El Beso side of this large resort. We had an ocean front master suite and loved how spacious it was. Hands down the largest room I've been in. Two bathrooms is a real treat. Separate sitting area and balcony right at the beach. We had touble at first getting our bar fridge restocked but after we told Deiby our Butler, it never happened again. Being a Privilege guest means you'll have roped off areas and a bit better service from the bar staff at the pools and beach. Most importantly you will be given a butler to help you get the most out of your vacation. Ours was Deiby, and he was wonderful. He answered every and any question and helped make everything easy. Communication was through WhatsApp and he would regularly check in with us to see if we needed anything. He was the biggest help at making all of our dinner reservations for the whole week. That service alone takes all the thinking and stress about where to go and what times to reserve to secure a spot out of the whole trip. If you love a beach view and a masive room I would say splurge and experience the privilege. It was awesome. Because the resort is large they have trams running to help you get to the restaurant area quicker and easier. We choose to get our steps in and enjoyed the walks. Restaurants were average with some standouts. The rack of lamb at Blue Moon was delish. The adult only Per Dama at the beach had ceviche and a really nice Caribbean fish that was my fav! Sakura was great with teppanyaki show. Buffet was fine enough. As far as activities, they're are enough things to do if you want to do them. We loved the lazy river. (More fun than it sounds.) All activities are listed daily on the app. The piano bar and the sports bar were our choices. We didn't go see the daily shows at night feeling like we've see most of those types of shows many times on other trips. I'm sure they were good. Mike's coffee shop is a must. Great smooth coffee and treats. I'm an espresso drinker. Ask for a cortado. Double shot with a splash of milk. Yum. The beach was a very good size and lots of chairs. The resort didn't seem busy tho. We still went down and threw a towel on our chairs to keep our spot. The bay on the el Beso side was great to swim in and we went almost to the rocks that break the waves. It was awesome! Several pools and swim up bars. Some quiet, some loud depending on what you are looking for. Fantastic crepe station that took a while but was very good. Stand alone burger shack was also a nice treat! Route 66 is open all night I was told, didn't try it but I'll bet it's good. Gorgeous view from the light house. Make sure to go up!

Not coming back!
Room A/C wasn't working 100%, room was warm and musty. Room was clean and maid did a good job every day. Fridge wasn't stocked every day and had to track down the guy to get more water, coffee etc. Food was touch and go. Breakfast buffet was good but coffee service was poor. They only have one toaster that just warms the bread. After the first cup you never would get a refill. Japanese restaurant was good, Italian restaurant food was too salty. Hard to make restaurant reservations. We ate at the buffet most of the time as there is a good selection. Pools were good and clean. Night time entertainment was poor for families. The best beach is the one left of the resort property. Would we come back? No! This was our fourth time to Punta Cana and this was the worst resort.

Nice room but poorly located, ordinary meals, average stay
We had requested a room with a garden view. We had a pool view room! Lots of noise all day and late . Restaurants with reservations do not offer good cuisine You can like it if you're not picky about food and noise. The beach is short and the water has a bit too much seaweed. The beach chairs are rather old and could use replacing.
