Paradisus La Perla is a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are well kept, staff are extremely friendly and attentive, rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff at Hadar, especially Carlos, are exceptional in their attention to you especially with it being a buffet. Jesus from the South Bar knows how to make a drink and to get the party started! If you are looking for a getaway that you don’t need to worry, Paradisus La Perla should be on your list!

Just got home from a wonderful week at Paradisus in playa del Carmen. Overall I was very happy with the trip. The buffet food for the first couple dinners was not great, but once we were able to get Into the restaurants we had great dinners at the Hibachi grill, mexician, and Italian restaurants. I recommend you go first thing in the morning, like line up at 845am to reserve restaurants times if you want early times with children. We were there on spring break so it was probably extra busy, but another recommendation would be to get up before 7am and reserve pools chairs if you want a good spot by the pool. We did pay extra to rent a cabana for one day and that was well worth the price after a week of fight for pool chairs. One of my favourite things was the night shows. Do not miss the pirate show or the circus show, both were fantastic!! Kidsdom was very safe, well run and well organized and top notch care givers. My son had a great time every time he went there and we felt safe leaving him for short times. All in all if you have kids 10 and under I think it is a perfect family resort for kids. We would return again.

The best customer service!
A bit of a strange review as even though I have stayed here every year for the past 4, I was not able to attend this year. I had a serious complication in my pregnancy and was devastated to be told I could not go. The entire customer service team was wonderful to me and very understanding and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Diego Morales is the assistant front office manager and he specifically went out of his way to help us and really take care of us. We will be back next year, with our little girl!

A simple “picture perfect” vacation at Melia Paradisus Playa del Carmen
We want want call it a “picture perfect” vacation. From arrival to the last day, our 5 nights stay at Melia Playa del Carmen were spectacular. The cleanliness, the food quality, the tranquility. The kids activities, water park and pools. We simply had a wonderful vacation. Thanks to Miriam, and Adriana mostly, your attention to little details were amazing. All other staff at restaurants very professional. Definitely we will be back and recommend. Family concierge was full but that did not stop all the attention guests demand.

Good for little kids
We liked the Naos restaurant. Angel, Valentina and Luis took really good care of us. They were attentive, friendly and great with our kids. The pools are fun for kids (pirate ship and aqua fun zone). Family concierge is worth the money Great house keeping at least twice a day.
