Amazing beach. Amazing staff.
Lets talk about the good. The beach is amazing. Clear water no seaweed no waves. Excellent snorkling if you go to the right of the resort. The place is small and has a nice feel. A bit dated but nice and clean. The staff is top notch. The coffee shop is great. The rooms are nice size and clean. The food, so this was a bit Jekyl and Hyde. The first couple days it was good. The last few just ok. The Ala Carte spots are tough to get into. They dont take res. till 48 hours before. They fill up quick. The buffett was good but the same choices every day. Some odd ones. Like Mexican day they had Leg Of Lamb. Where is the Carne asada? We left the property one night for lobster and it was great the next night we paid 40 extra then 15 extra for lobster at the steakhouse. It was not even close to what we had off site. We traveled with a couple that had food allergies. If you are Gluten Free it was tough. I fault the chef for this. You cant serve the same thing over and over. But for an all inclusive the food was good for the most part. Its a low key spot. The gym is good. Pickleball courts are great. The staff is really what makes this place great. They are always there for you. What ever you need. The grounds are beautiful. I really cant say anything negative. As per usual you have the old folk that get up at 4 in the morning to claim there spots but there where always great spots availible.

The best of everything!
Everything was perfect! The room was tidy and clean and came w a mini fridge and coffee maker, the beds were king size and comfy. The beach with the palms scattered about provided shade when desired. The beach was constantly monitored for empty cocktail glasses and plentiful beach chaises were re-arranged every evening. The sound of the waves 24/7 was magical and so peaceful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The snorkeling was great RIGHT THERE(they have all the equipment)! and we also enjoyed a hobie cat sail w "super Mario"! You could also go out on your own. There were kayaks, too. There were large floating rings w tight netting across the bottom anchored in about 3 feet of water to relax and sunbath on. They thought of everything!! The food and drinks were all fantastic and the fun and chill atmosphere was the best we could have asked for! It was one of the best vacations we've ever taken!

Nice but not worth the money
I'll start with positives, the beach was lovely, good cocktails, the food was tasty and the rooms were clean and spacious. The new coffee shop is also a plus. I would highly recommend the beachfront rooms due to location and view. Now the negatives. Expect to be charged £5 per person, per night in tourist tax. That's £100 for a 10 night stay. They also charge a service fee of £24 per room. That's £240 for 10 nights. So £340 additional costs. This is for cleaning and WiFi. The WiFi is patchy and the rooms are cleaned every other day. This is extortionate and unreasonable. We also found that unless you tip every staff member highly, for each drink and meal, you will receive poor service from the majority of staff. That said, the staff in the spa are incredibly friendly and provide an excellent service. There is also a 'war' each morning to grab sun loungers. People were out on the beach reserving them as early as 5:30am. Ridiculous. On the whole we had a lovely time, but I would not choose this hotel again, given the choice. I just don't think it's value for money.

Our experience exceeded our expectations.
We just returned from our trip and yes, we would stay there again. The property was kept clean, particularly the main dining area. The staff members continually worked to keep the buffet area neat. We want to recognize the following individuals: TJ and Manual at Topez, Andi, Michael and Ann Marie in Activities and Clementina at Cafe 1761. These people exceeded our expectations every day and made our stay pleasurable. Egmund has to be one of the most committed employees at Pineapple Beach Club....always smiling and quick to respond to our request for a to go container for a friend that didn't feel up to going to dinner. We requested a room that would accommodate our traveling companions, who needed to be close due to physical limitations. We stayed in the 400 block near the Turtle pool and our house keeping attendant was thorough and thanked us for the chocolates we left for Valentine's Day. We've been taking winter trips for many years and this year we opted for a relaxed, less crowded property and we are glad we chose PBC. It was hard to go from 85 degrees to 5 degrees when we got back home! We called our trivia team Sexy Seniors......The Activities Team was awesome.

A Heaping Dose of Vitamin Sea
We have just returned from 2 weeks at this resort and I’d highly recommend it. Not very far from the airport — about 1/2 an hour. The grounds are lush and well kept, the beach is well-groomed with plenty of sun cots and shady areas (if that is your preference). The water is a bit rougher on the Atlantic side, but still very swimmable, and there is a small reef just to the right of the resort if you like to snorkel. There are at least 4 pools, 4 bars, 4 restaurants (only one that is an extra charge), an all-day snack bar as well as a lunchtime bbq on a spectacular lookout and a coffee shop. The rooms are spacious and well appointed/maintained, all centrally located. But then there is the staff — any successful resort knows that a big reason for returning is the staff. The folk here are awesome… Nichole (aka Mermaid Nichole), Tricia, Jo-Ann-the-omelette-lady, Egbert, Delta, Charlie, Wallace, Arlene, Sara-Ann, Joyce, Kevin, Barrymore and many many others all are so very welcoming and pay attention to what creates a special atmosphere for the guests. Behind a well-run resort is the GM, Sanjay was out and about daily, speaking with the guests and staff alike, asking for input and suggestions…and the staff genuinely spoke very highly of her.
