- La CordeliereOffers fine ocean-view dining in its casually elegant interior or al fresco on the shaded terrace – the perfect place for masterfully prepared meals and festive theme night buffets. The naming of La Cordeliere is a tribute to an important time in Mazatlán's history when a small group of valiant local men warded off the invasion of the awesome French warship for which the restaurant is named.

Quiet and peaceful hotel
I had trouble with my room and the service manager immediately fixed it within minutes, the pool is immense and climatized, people is respectful I liked the fact they don’t let people come with big speakers and make noise, it’s a quiet and friendly environment

Good ime was had by all
Rooms are very comfortable…the room maid paid close attention to detail. My wife and I took the all-inclusive package and was a little surprised to find I had to pay extra for captain Morgan’s spiced rum at Kelly’s bard and at the bistro if I wanted a shot of ammeretto…. I had to pay extra….. not the end of the world … but first all- inclusive I experienced these issues. Food was awesome everywhere we ate. The pool service at the adult only pool was stellar. A big thanks to Angel and Jose… they were extremely polite and fun to be around. They both did an outstanding job…. Always smiling and catered to your every need. Great job guys.

Resort did not meet the expectation, not worth your money.
We have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for several year. Also, have been to Mazatlán and stayed at Villa Del Palmar before. This time we decided to go again and booked to stay at this resort. And what a disappointment it was. Rooms were dirty, floor tiles were cracked. Vegetation around the resort was not maintained. Dead trees and branches. Trash placed outside the rooms were not picked up for three days. Bugs were running on the bathroom counter. Pool chairs were dirty. Pickleball courts had lot of bird poop. Microwave did not work. Freeze doors were rusty inside and outside. We paid for Ocean view and requested rooms for the family together, but they gave us hard time in assigning rooms in the same building and same floor. After talking to the manager, they gave us rooms in the same building and same floor. We went there few years back for timeshare presentation and it was gorgeous. We spoke highly about it to our family, and they agreed to go there but it was a disappointment. They claim as 5 stars, but the property is less than 3 stars. Would not recommend for the price they charge. Can find better resort for that price or less. Research before you choose this resort. On the positive side, food service was good. Not too many options for restaurants but they were accommodative of our vegetarian diet. See attached photos for reference.

A beautiful property with wonderful staff members
We have been coming to the property for 15 years. At night, it is still breathtaking beautiful to walk around the property. The original architecture and landscaping have matured. There is a need for maintenance and repairs. Some of the landscaping has gotten so tall as too obscure all views of the ocean that used to be here. That said the best part about this property is the staff! Those who have been there the longest having incredible memories and they take excellent care of the guests. They have a lot of pride in their work. The menu has been refreshed. The high cost to shrimp has resulted in the beloved shrimp cocktail from being removed from the all-inclusive menu. That is unfortunate. But totally understandable. They are trying to control the costs. We will be back again many more times as we are timeshare owners here. There is very attentive management that tries to address concerns as they come up. Additional training for newer staff will go a long ways to restoring the hospitality that once was the Hallmark here. Covid changed many things. It changes this place as well. But we still love Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Reservations

Hands down, the BEST resort I've been to!
This resort is fabulous. Right from the moment we checked in. Fernando was friendly and helpful, and she has an amazing personality! Perfect girl to introduce us to the beginning of a great week. The grounds are so luscious and beautiful. Golf carts to bring us to our rooms. The rooms were so nice! Clean and spacious. 2 beds, table with 4 chairs, and 2 outside loungers on our balcony. Fully stocked kitchenette with a full sized fridge. The bathroom was big and clean. The friend I was rooming with had mobility issues and couldn't walk far, so we called for a golf cart when we were ready to go to the buffet, pool or lobby. They were always there within minutes with a smile on their faces. Always helped with a stool to get into the cart and helped her get out at the stop. Not once did we experience a grumpy staff anywhere on the resort. From the servers, to the lobby staff, to the gardeners, to the golf cart drivers, every single person was friendly, smiling and ready to engage. The staff was very accommodating in every situation. I don't think we heard the word "no" one time the whole week. Every time we had a request for something or wondered if we could make a change to something, the staff made it happen. We loved Rooster at the swim up bar! He was so fun! He made our days. Make sure you order a Rooster Surprise when you see him. Best drink on the resort 🙂 We spent a couple afternoons playing Mexican Bingo and Blackjack with the activities people by the pool. So fun!!! Carlos was fantastic! He was so engaging and funny. He taught me the rules and was so polite to everyone. He handled an obnoxious guest with grace and didn't let him get under his skin. Evelyn was great at hosting volleyball in the pool. She got right into it!!! We went to Antonio's at the sister resort one night and were served by Javier. He was FANTASTIC! Very attentive and funny. I loved the presentation of our food. They made the evening a great experience. The food at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay was the best I've ever had at an all-inclusive. It was unreal. Not once did we get tired of the food. It was all so good. The quality and quantity were great. I can't wait to go back. This was my favorite experience at an all-inclusive.
