Disappointing Experience at Pueblo Bonito Blanco Los Cabos Beach Resort
Just came back from a disappointing stay at Pueblo Bonito Blanco Los Cabos Beach Resort. We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary with friends, and it was a disaster. The check-in staff and manager were incredibly rude. The place is in terrible shape, nothing like what you’d expect for $650 a night! Our room keys didn't work; stuck outside for 3 hours. No extra towels, and at one point, there was no water in the bathroom. One of our friends had water issues too. It took forever to get anything to room like extra towels, an iron board—2 to 3 hours each time we asked. The only saving grace was the stunning location and views, but that doesn’t make up for the awful service. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Definitely not worth your money! Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. #TravelDisappointment #NeverAgain #OverpricedAndUnderdelivered

Overall, delighted with the stay
I booked this via Expedia and had a Junior suite on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and ocean. A lovely relaxing vibe to the hotel and there was always someone keeping the place clean. We opted for all-inclusive and I liked that this included room service options and I also loved the buffet restaurant next door in the Rose hotel. It served a great breakfast and evening meal and we ate there each day. Didn’t really need lunch as 2 meals a day was more than sufficient but if you did want something then that was available at other places. Didn’t like the very officious guy who came and told us that we had sat on beach loungers that were reserved for ‘Elite Club’ members and we had to move. His manner was very rude. No beach chairs for ‘standard’ guests on the beach was disappointing and I refuse to get up at the crack of dawn to lay claim to one of the loungers on the hotel property that overlooked the beach. Some staff were a little brusque which I found disappointing and given it caters for as many tourists, I was surprised that English didn’t seem to be more widely understood. But I 100% accept that this hotel is in a Spanish speaking country. The one thing I found extremely annoying was them playing loud music around the pool. One day I sat on the beach and had to give up as the music from the hotel was competing against the music coming from the property next door! The gym at Pueblo was tiny compared to the much better gym next door at the Rose but this is accessible. I was just glad another guest told me about it!

Not worth it
Our trip was Sunday-Sunday. Staff was amazing and this is the reason for the 3 stars otherwise I do feel this stay would rate lower. Our group we had multiple couples with us and all of us were sick most of the trip on and off. Even though we made a point to drink only bottled water. We are not sure if it was the food or they gave us bad water when we asked bottled. The pools were very cold until the weekend so it was miserable to swim until our last couple of days. We also had a ton of issues with not having enough seating near the pool and people reserving seats at like 6 am for the full day even though the seats would sit empty for hours at a time.

Not what it used to be.
This is our sixth year here. Last year we did not come, and I'm surprised by how much this place has changed for the worse. We have come here every year to celebrate my birthday and have loved it. Unfortunately, this year, it was not the same place. The pools were too cold to swim in (no one was swimming in the pools due to the temperature), the food was not good quality (our group of five was sick for the whole 6 days), you were unable to get a chair by the pool since the resort allows people to place towels and personal items on chairs during the night and early morning to reserve pool seats, even though they are not around. So people who are actually down by the pool, can't use the pool seating. I'm sad, because we brought friends down this year after telling then how amazing this place was only to be disappointed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Great colonial resort, close to everything
We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco at the end of October. The place is older and has a colonial feel. It is very well maintained and the staff is amazing. It's a smaller resort with only one pool and it's beach front. I really enjoyed the food and well done drinks, never watered down. The food was fast and top quality. The suites are big and beds are comfy. We visited the Rose resort as well as Sun set beach resort and both were amazing. The food at Sun Set was varied and we enjoyed the night club too. This was a great deal to be able to visit all 3 resorts and enjoy all their amenities. It's so close to everything that you can walk to the marina and shops, so no need for Uber or a car. I highly recommend this place and will come back. Only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 was because while they had a wedding there, they had fireworks which scared the flamingos that live in the Blanco garden. They kept crying afterwards and had a hard time settling down. It was too sad to keep hearing them so upset for at least an hour after the fireworks.
