Disappointing
We stayed 4 nights at this resort. Overall I would rate it a 3/10. It’s definitely NOT a 5 star luxury resort. The rooms are dated and feel dirty. The showers are small and the water pressure is weak. The shower curtain ends up touching you during showers which is gross! The bed sheets had stains and so did the towels. The sliding door handle looked like it was about to come off and the mini fridge had scuffs on it. The mattresses are extremely firm and dated. The service was hit or miss. We had good service at Cilantros one night with Raul as our server. We went again another night and the quality of the food was different and so was the service. Also a lot of the time they didn’t get the food orders right and the food came out cold. You are able to use the restaurants and pool in Pueblo Bonito Rosè as well. The Mares Nostrum restaurant provided a breakfast buffet as well as dinner at Rose. The quality of the food was mediocre. For example, the crepes were cold at the buffet. They also had canned fruit at the buffet, which was odd considering Mexico has the best fruit. They also had fresh fruit but it was just limited to watermelon and melon. It seems like they take a lot of short cuts. This might be a good resort for someone’s first time, but other resorts in Cabo are definitely better (secrets, marquis, grand velas, etc). You are able to also go to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. That resort seemed newer, however you need to wait for a Golf Cart to take you around the resort. I also didn’t like how they had a couple of restaurants with cover charges and also extra charge for certain things at “The Market.” I understand that hotels in Mexico have restaurants with cover charges, but the food at the other restaurants is still good, that wasn’t the case here. The “all inclusive” restaurants had mediocre food options. The pool at Rose had broken and missing tiles, not sure how they are able to pass as a 5 star resort. The rooms only had shampoo and conditioner with no body wash( only bar soap) and no other amenity kits. The service at the pool was also very slow at Blanco because all the food comes from the Rosè side. We had a luxury ocean suite but the “futon” or pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable and uneven so we asked for a roll away bed. This request took 2 hours to get addressed by the way. Their service during the evening / night hours is very slow and I believe there is a language barrier. Another thing that was odd is that the all inclusive service and wifi access ends at check out. All the other hotels we have stayed at in Mexico have not had this. The beach access is nice until you get overwhelmed with the people at the beach trying to sell you stuff right and left. There are beach chairs on the beach but you have a view of the people trying to sell you stuff the whole time as well as cruise ships.

Amazing stay!
We had a great time. Beautiful beach views. Nice room, they were very clean and had comfortable beds. Pool was nice and heated which was great in December. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you to Areli, Daniel, and Alfredo Mayo for their hospitality and kindness.

Family time well spent every time at the Blanco!
Such a great stay for the family before Christmas! We had a great room right next to the flamingos with easy access to the pool, which was great for our 2 young kids! The staff is always top notch with the best pool guys (our favs Alfredo and Blas!) and Max with the best pool entertainment! It’s an easy. Voice to bring the family back to this place and enjoy our time in Cabo close to the Harbor. And splurge for the all inclusive!

Know before you go
Our first night was a little uneventful. Our needs were not being met. Our first visit to Cilantro after a long day of travel, we were told that without a reservation we couldn't get service. The restaurant was completely empty, only two tables had been occupied. We were told that we were getting a welcome gift, and what we received was a shakedown for a timeshare presentation. I was not happy with being deceived. I'm happy to say that the rest of our stay was wonderful. The restaurant at Rosé and the Market at Sunset are amazing. We were so happy with the resort’s that we bought a timeshare. I would recommend any of their Pueblo Bonito Resorts.
