    Best first experience.

Spent two fab weeks at this resort and for iur first trip to Mazatlan. We have previously spent our vacations in Puerto Vallarta and I'm so thrilled that we gave it a try. The beach is second to none. Very walkable, swimming, surfing, and very little drift up on the beach. Very few beach vendors which is refreshing. Okay, back to the resort itself. The lobby is cool and inviting. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, you just need to know how to work the handle. Lol, I could only get warm for the first day until someone told me how it worked. We were not all inclusive so we didn’t use the restaurants but we might next time. The entire resort was very clean and the staff very welcoming. I would return here again.

Another fab stay at Pueblo Bonito

I have been coming to Pueblo Bonito for over 10 years and just returned from my last trip. My sister has had a timeshare there for over 20 years. Gotta say I've travelled extensively around the world and Pueblo Bonito is like coming home when I fly to MZT every November. The staff is exceptional, Patty and front desk and Carla who kept our room immaculate. Spend hours in and by the pool. Feel like the staff are friends - Juan, Oscar, Lorenzo, Antonio, to name a few.

Excellent trip for most of us

This year was excellent for most of us as usual. Some of the group couldn't figure our hot water (pro tip: turn the bottom part of the handle slightly towards the red side, let it warm, then move bottom of handle to open up more water or temp to your desire.). One in our trip got sick and the staff did everything they could to get them medical help. Unfortunately sickness changes a trip for that person. My thanks to all the front counter staff morning and night for everything they did. I will forget many names (Patti, Carlos, Rosaria, Sofia and the ones I can't remember. The pool staff is always wonderful (oscar, juan, antonio, and lorenzo). The pool is alway amazingly clean when towel Jorge is in charge.

    My last trip to Mazatlán

I have been traveling to Pueblo Bonito for the last 23 years, many of the years 2 times. I feel safe in saying that I have spent about 45 weeks in total. Originally this hotel made me want to retire in Mazatlán. However things have gone so far down hill I will not go back. The facilities are a shadow of what it used to be, the pool is so cold it mostly unusable and the only time they scrubbed the slim from the edges was after a guest gave a manager an actual handful of the slim from the pool. Only the old staff still care enough to do their jobs but whomever is making the decisions makes it very clear they do not like or care about their guest, unless they are Mexican. Many rooms have NO hot water in the showers, the beds feel like your sleeping on concrete, water pressure can be iffy, and this is AFTER the big remodel. Also for the last few years, with the AC blasting everywhere I end up with a cold at some point in the trip. For a hotel claiming to be 5 star, they are not. The upper management also managed to find a way to screw the wait staff out of tips through the use of "All Inclusive" and only being able to charge to the room instead of paying cash each day so you don't have a big bill at check out. Its very sad for me to see this happen and why I will not be back. I will miss some of the people like Jorge Zamora is always a true ray of sunshine, the waiters, Lorenzo, Ricardo, Juan, Oscar, Antonio, Jose, and Noe. The front desk Patti and Rosario Finally the front door staff, Raul and Francisco are awesome.

    2024 Mexico birthday trip!!

As always. Pueblo Bonito properties are the best. Never a disappointment. Clean and efficient. My birthday celebration in Mexico was the best. Someday our family will come with us. We saw an iguana at the pool. November is the best time to go to Mexico.
