    Beautiful Resort

We stayed at PBEB Jan 3-17, 2025; an all inclusive vacation through Sunwing. The resort is beautiful but the maintenance of the rooms need attention in that the age of the resort is showing. We were in building 23, 4th floor and it was probably the quietest room experience ever had in Mexico. Ocean waves crashing and so peaceful. The food at the resort is incredible. From the buffet to the restaurants and pool area, we found it all delicious and well presented. The only downside was having to scan your bracelet upon entering a restaurant and again when leaving for all food and drinks consumed every single visit. Pool side they opened a ‘tab’ for the day but you need to scan in and out too. The Bistro has an amazing menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. La Cordeliere is buffet style except for Friday nights when they have surf and turf and you are served. They have theme nights throughout the week. There is also a sushi restaurant that operates on the patio of Kelly’s Bar. We tried it once and would not recommend but maybe you’d like it. The service was awful the night we tried it and it was not busy inside or out. The pool menu is more than your basic fare and very good. Kelly’s Bar is the only ‘lounge’ area. For a resort that presents as luxury, a lounge with some ‘atmosphere’ for a before or after dinner drink would be a welcome addition. This resort also needs a place for a quieter dining experience for adults. I had reason to contact maintenance once for burned out light bulbs and the response was prompt! I used the PBEB app and it was easy. We made use of the golf carts for transportation around the resort and I must say all the drivers were very attentive. Sometimes a bit of a wait for a cart, but understandable. The Deli is an on site convenience store and has everything you might need during your stay. You must pay with a credit card either registered at check in connected to your bracelet or at the time of purchase, as they do not accept cash. The bracelet is also your room key. Special mention to Benjamin at The Bistro, Humberto at the main pool and Miguel, a cart driver for their outstanding service. The location is remote but a free shuttle service is available to the sister resort in Mazatlan. A reservation is required both ways. We really enjoyed our stay but with so many resorts to visit, we would likely choose something closer for walking distance within town.

    Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan is great!

Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan is a beautiful place! I have been going for many years and the staff is amazing! Everyone is courteous and helpful. The food is always excellent and the facilities are great! There are numerous activities everyday from Bingo, Beach Volleyball, Water Volleyball, Black Jack, Texas Hold Em, Ping Pong and more. They also have the best beach in all of Mazatlan! I would definitely recommend!

Great family vacation with the best service!

Thank you Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan Beach Resort staff for a wonderful vacation! My family and I spent a week at this hotel from Dec 31-Jan 7 and loved every minute of it - from its location, beautiful beach, and spacious and modern rooms (we were surprised with a free upgrade to a two bedroom suite - room 307/308 have a great view and huge terrace), to its incredible food and service, you will love every moment of your stay here! During the day we spent our time lounging at the beach at cabana 6 or 7 - Oscar from the Palapa Bar was fantastic. We loved getting to know him and appreciated his stellar service (we miss you Oscar)! Our evenings were spent enjoying the delicious food at Cilantro’s (and fantastic staff there too!) We even ventured off property and enjoyed a great meal at Casa46 in Plaza Machado - highly recommend it (even with the added charge as part of the all inclusive plan). Thanks also to the hard working staff at the buffet restaurant (Paloma’s) - especially the man making the eggs / omelettes! Sure there is no mini-fridge in the room or cold bottled water - but none of that impacted our stay. We brought water up with us from the beach bar and never felt like we missed out having a fridge. In terms of space for your clothes - there are shelves in the closet and lots of hangers! So no worries there either. And while you won’t find nightly entertainment after dinner (shows and such) you will find the pool bar open and someone always happy to pour your favourite drink or two! After a day in the fresh air we were happy to grab a few drinks and bring them to our room, watch tv and crash at a reasonable hour so we could enjoy everything again the next day! My kids (ages 14, 14 and 12) enjoyed the daily beach volleyball games at 3. While we didn’t participate in the daily bingo games - they happen by the pool around 1 pm! You can’t go wrong with this resort (and the spectacular sunsets you’ll be treated to each night) - we’re already talking about going back! Pueblo Bonito and Mazatlan you have won our hearts! We look forward to seeing you soon!
