Absolutely Loved My Stay at Riu Cancun!
I had the BEST time at Riu Cancun! The all-inclusive food and drinks were amazing, so much variety and everything was delicious. The drinks never stopped coming, and there was always something to snack on. The vibe was so fun, everyone was laughing and having a blast. The staff were super friendly and really made the experience even better. I’m already counting down the days until I can go back! If you’re looking for a chill, fun, all-inclusive spot, Riu Cancun is definitely the place to be!

Amazing Vacation!
The Resort: The hotel itself was fantastic. While the rooms were a little outdated, they were spotless, and everything worked perfectly. The service was exceptional – the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the drinks and food. The steakhouse was definitely a highlight; we really appreciated that we didn’t need a reservation. They gave us a pager, and we could relax with a drink while waiting for our table. We dined there twice and had a short wait of about 45–60 minutes each time, which was fine. We also tried the Japanese, Italian, and French restaurants, and they were all fantastic as well. No reservations were needed for these, and there was no wait – everything was smooth and enjoyable. The buffet was also very good. The variety of food was impressive, and the quality was excellent. What really stood out, though, was the service at the buffet – the servers were absolutely amazing! They were attentive, friendly, and made every meal even more enjoyable. Chairs by the Pool and Beach: We were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to get up early to grab chairs. There were still chairs available around 9:30–10:00, although they may not have been in prime locations. As early risers, we were reserving our chairs around 8:00–8:30, and we always found a spot exactly where we wanted. Activities and Entertainment: There was always something happening, which was great! We enjoyed a few shows, and the RIU party was a lot of fun. Although we’re probably a little too old for the party scene, we had a blast and just headed back earlier than the younger crowd. Crowd and Atmosphere: There were quite a few spring breakers at the resort, and while it was a bit lively, they were all very respectful, and it didn’t bother us at all. The atmosphere was great! Pools and Beach: The resort has four pools, and we loved the variety. One pool is super quiet, and we spent an afternoon there – very relaxing. The swim-up bar had a lot of spring breakers, and the water didn’t look the best, so we skipped that one. The other two pools were fantastic! The only downside was that the shade came very early in the afternoon, and by 2 pm, most of the pool areas were in the shade. The beach was lovely, but it’s a smaller area with no palapas or umbrellas. The water was great, but by 2 pm, the beach area was mostly shaded, which helped with the sun. Location: One of the best parts about the resort was its location. It was great to be able to walk outside and explore the area. Just across the road, there’s a market that had absolutely everything we could need. We also took a ferry to Isla Mujeres (only a 3-minute walk from the resort) and rented a golf cart to explore the island. It was a blast – we highly recommend it! All in all, we had an incredible time, and we’re so glad we went.

Uk couple on spring break lol
Fantastic location. Had a free upgrade so many thanks for that. Staff are lovely and very hard working. The cleanliness of the hotel is A1. The toilets in the pool area were exceptional as they were used for all pool and bar areas. Food was good plenty of choice. Something for everyone!!! The beach in front of hotel was nice too. The only thing I can say slightly negative is that the rooms are in need of an upgrade as looking very tired and dated. Also avoid spring break if you can as very loud 😬

Beach front paradise
What an amazing place. A tiny piece of paradise. We booked last minute and were worried (after reading reviews) that it would be too busy/noisy for us because of Spring Break, but it was fabulous. Great food, amazing staff who couldn't do enough for you and spotless in all areas. Great entertainment team too.
