I want to share my experience about the RUE Costa Mugeres in Mexico report! I really love to relax here and this is my 12 thousand times but the choice is the worst. Everything is old, a lot needs to be updated, first of all I want to start with the beach towels that are given out on cards 🤣 and this important mission is carried out by a woman named Rubi with a very important look and she decides how many towels to give to whom, it is very unpleasant as if she is giving out her towels from home. Then the dress disappeared from the balcony that was drying after the beach, it is also not easy to take a table for breakfast, there is a queue everywhere, the floor in the buffet is always sticky and slippery be careful. The shower is very old and unpleasant , door in toilet was very dirty, although the room has an ocean view and we paid extra, the robes are designed for a woman of size smal, my son and husband do not meet these standards, slippers need to be additionally asked for, the beach is cleaned at 9-10 in the morning when people are relaxing and practically walk on their feet. In general, I do not recommend it. For this money, you can find a more pleasant option with better service and more comfort.

Best trip ever!! The grounds were beautiful, we were steps from the beach. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Angel at the swim up bar was awesome!!

Loud Rooms!!!
Will do an updated review as our trip moves forward. Check-in was easy, the man who helped us (I cannot remember his name) was great. Very efficient and friendly. No issues with our room at first. Very clean. Slight musky smell when first going in. Pretty much expected given the local environment. Aired out the room for 5-10 minutes and the smell was much better. There are two of us in our room and they gave us two double beds. If I had known I would have requested one king. Regardless, the room is pretty spacious. Some things are getting a bit worn (light switches). Fridge was well stocked (Beer, Pepsi, 7up, water) We arrived at the resort later in the evening. Caught the buffet in the last 15 minutes. It was picked over, which is expected at almost closing time. The server didn’t seem thrilled that we were there to eat, but she wasn’t bad and I don’t blame her. Hoping the food is better tomorrow. Stopped for a drink at the entertainment bar and sports bar. Service was pretty quick. Sports bar snacks could probably be improved (hamburgers/hotdogs/some fruit/salads/sandwiches/nacho chips and tasteless cheese). When we arrived back to our room we noticed how loud the music is, I’m guessing from the disco. Hopefully the whole stay isn’t this way as we were hoping for a special trip to celebrate and relax. Would be nice to know before hand if you’re booking a room that is loud until closing. Not something we would have booked. To be continued .. .. ..

Excellent hotel and very enjoyable vacations!
I enjoyed my stay at Riu Dunamar.Excellent service. The property is enormous and beautifully kept. The pool is heated which in January made it a pleasure to swim in. The food was wonderfully prepared. Lots of great choices. The hotel has amazing landscape! The only drawback I noticed was the small double bed and the low-quality mattresses.

Our view was of the driveway and the back of the resort no ocean view at all. Should have had a bit of a price cut.
