Dec 20, 2024Daughter has to sleep on the floor.
The place, bar, and food are good, but not if you need more than one room for the family. Here now, I started the today’s trip with my double bedroom not being available. We reserved but not an option when we checkin, so I have to have my adult daughter sleep on the floor tonight. Check-in had no apologies and said they could sleep on the loveseat seat, which would work if my daughter was 4. Not 24. I hope the room change works tomorrow, but I'm unsure how this is acceptable without any apologies. Paying extra for elite provides a nice view but not if you do not have a bed. Getting dinner reservations is challenging because the app only allows booking per party in a room so to get my family of 5 a reservation, I have to login per room. Not all at once. It's a nice place if you are a couple but I can’t say I am impressed if you need more than one room for family. I rarely have bad reviews and again the place is nice but not having your reserved room when you are paying 10k for the weak is a little much for me to give a glowing review.

Everything was awesome from the staff, the food, our room and pools. I would suggest to upgrade your room and activities to the Elite, makes a big difference from your dining experience, the upgraded alcohol and the rooms. We cannot wait for our next adventure with Riu!

Amazing Hotel Resort
We had such an amazing time here. The resort was beautiful and all the staff were so welcoming and took care of you. Their hospitality was just the best! Food was amazing and weather was great. We are coming back again!

I want to thank David, Erick, Ariel, Juan, Ramiro and Rodolfo and the guy that worked the bar on 12/11 by himself, didn’t get his name, and all the cleaning staff. Very hospitable and helpful. Sergio in the steak house is awesome. Only complaint is the music. Better music please!
