Hotel was amazing. Service was great. Everybody was super nice. Everything was nice and clean. I will definitely go there again.

Fantastic resort in a great location!
We stayed from 2/8-2/15/25 room 626. The resort is beautiful, pools were fantastic with elevated views of the ocean from each pool, beach is stunning (very little seaweed at all & no rocks), we felt very safe (there were 5 police that patrolled the beach, 2 with guns visible which was nice-keeps the vendors away 😎). The staff is so friendly, polite & the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. The beds were comfortable (note there is only a lightweight comforter on bed), shower, tub & balcony was amazing (drying rack on balcony; we had 24 wood hangers in closet, stocked mini fridge, coffee pot, in room safe, iron/ironing board). I was pleasantly surprised at the alcohol variety (vodkas were Absolute, Tito’s & Smirnoff) - even my picky beer drinking husband found Amstel Light & Tecate Ultra which he liked. The cocktails by the pool weren’t strong which I liked (some people asked for more). Breakfast buffet is really good (the omelettes , bacon, French toast & fruit were great!) and dinner is mostly good (we really enjoyed the Asian and the Steakhouse restaurants). The entertainment was great (silent disco was so much fun, ABBA production, Rock Is Not Dead and the Mexican band were all so good!), the massage I got from Irasema was fantastic! Negative for us was the lunch buffet which had a large variety, but due to heat lamps most things were overcooked or just not great, though the fruit was always wonderful. They did have hot dogs/burgers by pool. I also wish they had another bathroom by pools (there’s only one close). The location is perfect-right in the middle of the hotel zone, and close to a huge (really nice) mall. We felt safe walking there. We took a catamaran to Isla Mujeres which was a lot of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Resort Vacation
This is a beautiful resort. Loved that it was Adults Only! (4) Pools, plenty of patio chairs, the staff works VERY hard serving you drinks around the pools and on the beach. We enjoyed the entertainment every night. The food was very good, and the resort is soooo CLEAN! Wonderful vacation choice!

Amazing
Everyone at Riu works hard! Food was great, rooms was clean, people were kind, and we had a great time! The hotel in itself is a bit smaller than other hotels i have been but they will take you to different parties Overall, great experience especially after riu we didn’t have a great time at another 5 star hotel
