A five star experience
From start to finish a wonderful experience. Reception team courteous attentive and very helpful. Room was on the ground floor so didn't really have a view but we didn't mind, as it was easier getting back and forth to room. The room itself was great nice large comfy bed and bathroom shower area was more than adequate. Buffet food choice unbelievable, if you can, definitely make reservations for the 2 other restaurants, you won't be disappointed, (we actually reserved them at reception on our arrival). Outside the hotel grounds are well maintained and the pool area is large enough for all to get a sun bed, where the staff was always available to take your drink or food order. We only felt the need to leave the hotel once and that was to visit the "lighthouse" a short taxi ride away where there is a shopping complex and plenty of restaurants. The entertainment in the evenigs as many posters have mentiones is a bit hit and miss, but we were lucky enough to be there when the Queen ttibute band played and they were excellent. Two tips: loved the ice cream parlour on the walk down to the dunes well worth a visit. And a personsl peference we decided to arrange a taxi back to the airport thru the tui rep (around 40 euros?) instead of using the TUI transfer as you do stop off at alot of hotels to pick up/drop off which can be abit time consuming. All in all super hotel would definitely visit again, but told tell anyond lets keep it a secret!

Great place to spend some time
The hotel is perfectly situated overlooking the dunes. Maspalomas near playa les ingles was not the best place in the world but the hotel overcame any negatives. Hotel staff were superb. Buffets and restaurants very good.

A bit too posh for me but amazing
Rooms food and facilities amazing, location even better. Evening drinks a bit pricey and residents a little.Dirty Dancing. I don't want to wear a litrlw black dress to dinner whilst on holiday. Whilst you didn't have to I would have been happier with a more casual affair. My hubby loved it!

Great hotel
We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 20 years or so including several times since the refurb. The bedrooms are now modern, fresh and light with a great bathroom that includes a large walk-in shower ( inc both rain shower and hand-held) as well as two sinks. The room servicing is excellent as is the constant hotel-wide cleaning. Dining is now open seating, seat yourself and shorts are now permitted to be worn outdoors on the dining terrace. The choice of food on the dinner buffet is extensive, with something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed sirloin steak, filet mignon, roast duck, roast pork, roast beef, a great choice of cold starters and salads. There is always a choice of fish, pastas, pizzas etc. etc. Wines are available by the glass, carafe or bottle at not-too-bad prices.Breakfast is also an extensive buffet and it is nice to eat outside in the sunshine! Many of the guests are repeaters, some of whom come several times each year. There are plenty of sunbeds and towels are provided up until 5pm each day. The pool is heated to a pleasant temperature. All the staff are great-especially the cleaners who are very visible sweeping, polishing, etc keeping the place immaculately clean. Just one little niggle-the charge for the room safe. We will be back!!
