Feb 20, 2025Relaxing and luxurious vacation stay
Hotel has a great location, lovely furnishing and is spotlessly clean. Service is very friendly and food choice and quality was excellent. Lots of vegan options on the buffet but didn’t try the speciality restaurants as the menus looked limited in comparison. Great pools and grounds, very calm and relaxing. Entertainment a bit limited by the Tui night was fun & free.

RIU always first choice for us
As you can see from my ratings everything todo with the RIU is as I would know and love. However, the downside at Maspalomas the outside of the Hotel area is not up to standard. We would not feel safe walking out of the Hotel in the evening for a change of scenery. It’s quite scruff it needs a clean up. So we will go back next year to RIU Melanoras. .

Top Class Riu
An excellent stay at the Maspalomas Palace, excellent service, excellent location, cleanliness on another level. We found just about everything about this hotel very good. Staff , accommodation, location, pools, food, drinks etc, all very good , very calm if you just want to relax, evening entertainment not our thing, but everyone watching seemed to really enjoying it, we will return. Another great Riu hotel. Keep up good work, Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable break.

Hotel to return to.
Our second visit to the hotel and a second review. The hotel definitely didn't disappoint. We were given a fabulous room overlooking the breathtaking Maspalomas dunes. Sunrise before breakfast and sunshine until late afternoon. Food was again exceptional in particular the range of fruit and vegetables. It was my wife's birthday on the day of arrival and it was acknowledged at both reception and with cava and fruit in our room, which was a nice touch. Many guests have returned over the years and there are staff who have been there for long periods. It was good to see familiar staff from our stay last year including the manager who is very approachable and helpful with any questions about the hotel.

The Best
We have been staying at this hotel many times in the last 20 years and it is just the best. Clean, friendly, brilliant food & comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble to them. If I had to find a negative I would say they needed someone from Yorkshire to show them how to make Yorkshire pudding!
