    Amazing hotel

    Amazing hotel with fantastic staff, all so friendly and can’t do enough for you, whether it’s pool service drinks, fetching sunbeds for anyone late to the pool or maintaining the grounds (which are immaculate). We were in an adults only villa, which was perfect with a beautiful view and jacuzzi on the terrace. Some reviews mention a damp smell which there was when we first came in, but after opening the balcony door and unpacking our stuff, the smell had completely gone. The all inclusive drinks and food are good quality and plentiful, probably one of the best we’ve had. We ate at most restaurants (no booking so first come first serve). The steak and Japanese restaurants were good, buffet and Italian restaurant were excellent, Kulinarium was exceptional. The entertainment was great, day and night and we were blown away by the Riu Parties next door at the caribe which were spectacular. There was one down side and that was some of the other guests. Not the hotels fault but, especially after the Riu Parties, there were very loud American voices until the early hours and beyond, and this wasn’t youngsters on spring break, it was adults with no consideration. A bit of a shame really as everything else at the hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff are an absolute credit to Riu.

    Back at RIU Palace Peninsula

    My wife and I just completed another delightful trip to RIU Palace Peninsula for one week. Everything was wonderful. As usual the resort is spotless and safe. Amazing how the staff remembers you. Giovanna in the front office went out of her way to make our trip a bit more special. Thank your Giovanna. As usual Senor Alex kept a watchful eye on all arriving at the resort and Danny in RIU Fit helped keep the extra pounds off.

    Exceeded expectations!

    We stayed here for my birthday and I had so much fun! I loved the RIU parties, the atmosphere, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Everyone at the RIU, down to the bartenders and housekeepers were amazing and made me feel so special on my birthday! I will definitely come back here again and have recommended this resort to all my family and friends.

    Couldn't have been better

    We had a wonderful time. The staff were excellent and anything we asked for was provided in minutes. We had the room we'd requested, which was perfect for us. There was a very good choice of food and all was very tasty. The weather was just what one would hope for. We'll be going again.

    Wonderful staff and super clean

    The staff at this resort were wonderful; always so gracious and friendly. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The beach is lovely with soft sand, a nice swimming area and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas. We didn't have to rush to save our chairs as is quite common in other all-inclusives. We enjoyed the food (especially the steakhouse). We loved that you don't need to make advance reservations for the a la cart restaurants. Would recommend for families and couples.
