Had another great trip to the Riu Palace Peninsula. Stayed Dec 7-14 2024 and occupied room 1031. Room was beautiful and cozy and Erica did an awesome job keeping the room spotless. We have been to this hotel numerous times over the past 6 years and have always enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to the entire staff and wanted to mention FLOR and EDMUNDO who served us at breakfast every morning and very often at lunch as well. Fantastic and friendly. CRUZ who served us every day on the beach. Never misses an order. GRISEL and her entire staff in Krystal restaurant. I cannot remember everyones name however the entire staff performed above expectations. We went here for dinner several times during our stay. GLENDY & MARGARITA who served us lunch on several occasions. Any to everyone else working at this resort, thanks for making our trip memorable. ALSO- Special mention to the staff who look after the public washroom areas. These are the cleanest public washrooms I have ever encountered at an all inclusive resort and hopefully management will recognize these individuals who work hard at this thankless job. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

RIU always does it better
As a radio show host in Colorado, I invite listeners to join me for group getaways to Mexico. The RIU properties always do a great job. Our most recent trip to the RIU Palace Peninsula in Cancun was superb. Great meals and friendly staff including bell captain Alex and doormen Also and Hector. Jay and Natayla (may not be correct spelling) were exceptional. Please thank them for me.

Best all inclusive vacation ever so far!
As dedicated Barcelo Maya guests we decided it was time to try a different hotel brand and I found this resort at the Sunwing website. I checked out a bunch of reviews and also asked information at people I knew they went to Riu's before..and boy where they ever right...!! From checking in untill checking out the only thing I did was being overwhelmed of all the goodies and luxury you get for your buck..it just never stopped.. We had a few minor things in our room and it was fixed before we even had time to think about it. The room (villa) was large with a king bed, a bath tub, huge shower, separate bathroom, a fully stocked mini bar(daily!!), a liqor dispenser with 4 major brands and last but not least our own jacuzzi on the balcony. Room service is also included, we didn't use it maybe next time..😁. The grounds are spotless and kept clean all the time..beach is a little small, but enough beds to relax on. The food is honestly the best resort food I ever had, especially their buffets are amazingly good with so much to choose from. Last but not least is the service..the waitresses and waiters do everything to make sure your vacation is special...they work very hard every day and we thankfully tipped them generously. I do recommend this beautiful resort to anyone who wants to enjoy a RIU treatment or better said a RIU spoiler!!

What an amazing hotel. From the food, service and customer service!! Thank you to Angel and Diego at the front desk, Mara at the lobby bar, Martinez at the pool service,the cleaning staff and the concierge at the steak house ( sorry forgot your name).
