Thanksgiving Week at Hotel RIU Palas Riviera Maya
What a beautiful hotel this! While I have stayed at other RIU hotels in other parts of Mexico this was our first time stay at this RIU hotel. We stayed here for our Thanksgiving break and it didn’t disappoint. The room was large with a king sized bed, a cozy living room, a walk-in showers, soaking tub, and a wraparound balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The kids zone had a small water slide and offer activities for the children. The hotel had four different pools in one of them they offered free scuba diving demonstrations. The hotel offered 6 different restaurants that served good meals. The room service menu was a bit simple, I was hoping for a bit more options at least a burger option would have been nice. The bars were awesome with great drink options. With our stay at this hotel we had the option of visiting the neighboring RIU hotels. Over all the stay was amazing and the staff was great as well. I would recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Cancun or Playa Del Carmen.

Great Place - Fantastic Staff
Family trip for 4. We all really enjoyed the facilities as they were immaculate. The food was much better than the Riu non palace location we stayed last year. The beach and water were great. If you are looking to snorkel that is not the spot though. Pools were real nice as well as the whole place was just very very nice. The coffee shot was a family favorite as well as room service. Would recommend without a doubt. Oh the staff are just fantastic!!!
