Hotel was spotless - staff was friendly , efficient and very pleasant could not have been more pleased short ride to South Beach but nice to come back to a quieter hotel

Wonderful hotel
Stayed here pre and post cruise. Great seafront location and close to Miami cruise terminal and international airport. Very comfortable, clean and well presented rooms. Courteous and attentive staff. Nice restaurant providing great breakfast and dinner buffet. Good and varied selection of foods. Really enjoyable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Awesome Experience
This was my second time at Riu Miami. The staff are pleasant, rooms are comfortable & clean. Its right on the beach & if you don’t want to go to the beach they have a fantastic pool area. I enjoyed their breakfast buffet. And I actually ate twice at their buffet for dinner because it was very tasty. Thank you! I will visit again when I plan my future trip to Miami

we booked the Riu Miami as we'd had great experiences staying at Riu's in Dubai and Spain. Unfortunately upon entering our room we were greeted with a noise resembling a helicopter landing on the roof! I immediately returned to reception to discuss this and was they weren't aware of any noises however immediately offered another room a few door's down. We went to review accompanied by one of the porters. The Porter was well aware of the issue on our floor (10th) as there was a huge aircon unit mounted on the roof directly above.The noise was still evident in the new room but no where near as loud. We were informed there were no other rooms available so transferred to the new room. I must say the overall standard of the room was poor and not what i've previously experienced with Riu Hotels.

Total tax rip off
Stayed here for nights overall a positive experience decent if nothing. Special room nice pool and bars situated right on the beach. The tel negative for me is rhe prices of everything the price you see is never the price you pay for example we checked in and we had booked on th riu app which clearly stated all taxes included in the price the man at the desk took payment then added another 54 dollars for something called facilities tax then I walked into the bar a glass of wine was advertised at 8 dollars when I went to pay it was suddenly 11 dollars because tax had to be added why can they not just put the price to start with feels like your constantly being ripped off
