The staff are excellent on all levels, and the service is extremely good. They ate so attentive, and work so hard. We found the choice of food in the buffet also excellent and very tasty, although the desserts weren’t that great. we tried the asian and Italian restaurants. Asian very tasty, although as we were late going there a lot of the dishes had finished, and the mess was a bit much. Alcoholic drinks are a bit weak, although the wine was palatable. The sports bar was cold and the food really bland. The decor rather old fashioned. If you like nightly entertainment, then you are in the right place. lots of shows and a Friday night party for all three sister hotels. It wasn’t for us. too many people. Night time was a nightmare as people kept returning back late and making a huge racket either talking loudly, or banging doors at 2am ect. It happened every night! rooms were big with lovely shower, and very clean. I wouldn’t return

My wife and i have been to many resorts in different caribean destinations, and Riu is top notch!! Resort, staff, food, accomidations, beach, entertainment and location are truely the best. We would definatley recommend this resort 100% for everyone from new travellers to seasoned veterans. A MUST STAY resort...we WILL be going back.

Another great holiday at RIU Tequila
Our 2nd time at the Tequila did not disappoint. Smooth check in and welcome drinks to toast our arrival. Room was excellent with no issues. First day at main restaurant we were greated with welcome back by several staff, which was very nice. Restaurant was clean and very welcoming , food choices for every taste at each serving with excellent service from to name a few Shima , Tania , Laura and Selena. Pools were very well presented and areas around very well looked after , the service at the pool bar, the waitress going round offering drinks to the ice cream cart absolutely first class. The entertainment team deserve medals they go above and beyond to keep everyone entertained morning to night always with a smile. Bar staff work there socks of to keep your drinks topped up Cruz was super awesome. Andrea in sports bar was so funny. The a la Cart restaurants were brilliant best burger I’ve ever had. RIU party neon night was amazing. The added bonus of access to other hotels across the road makes for a perfect holiday in our book. Book your trips with Martin Homys first class.

Best Mexico experience since a long time!
RIU Tequila Good service Good food Clean Beach nice, but missing shade. Chair reservations game like every where Drinks are good quality

Best holiday ever!
The hotel is so beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been more lovely - Julio in the buffet restaurant was an absolute highlight! The grounds are gorgeous and the entertainment was amazing. The hotel is very clean and the housekeeping staff really pay close attention to keeping your rooms clean along with cute towel animals on the beds. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a fun and lively hotel, already looking to book again!
