Fantastic Staff, Property a little Neglected.
We stayed for 6 nights in March. I’m going to start with the positives. The staff are all wonderful. Especially in the Brasserie. Every staff member we met, were outstanding. We had an Ocean View Suite which was beautiful, very spacious, comfortable bed, lovely linens and bath robes. Tea & Coffee making facilities etc. Negatives - The property is in need of some TLC. The cushions in The conservatory Bar are stained and worn, same in Tuckers Bar. Photos attached. The sun beds by the adult pool are frayed leaving sharp edges. Our patio window needed replacing as it had condensed inside the double glazing so you can’t see out of it. The sun beds on the beach are such poor quality, considering the price point of this hotel. The beach club was closed whilst we were there, despite being told it would be open prior to booking. Weekends are awful, you cannot get a bed around the pool -it’s full of club members and thousands of kids. The adult pool was just a sad place, scaffolding up, only half of it gets the sun. No views. We had a few poor meals at Sul Verde & The Brasserie. Definitely not value for money. Fine dining prices for bang average food. We felt that Rosewood Bermuda had an air of neglect about it, it’s not being kept to a high standard - which for its price point is really unacceptable.

Cancelled trip due to lack of reply from concierge / front desk team
We intended to stay at this hotel but wanted to make sure that there would be enough to do with our infant. We contacted the hotel using their concierge email address and the general hotel email address and never heard back from anyone. Due to this lack of responsiveness and communication, we decided to cancel our stay and go elsewhere.

Incorrect Charge Weeks After Check-Out, Rejected Reimbursement
Incorrectly charged CC 3 weeks after check-out and agreed their error. Credited back however due to exchange rate change, out $180 and Rosewood refuses to responsibility. Less about money, more about principle and doing the right thing.

Lots to love but facility felt a bit tired, isolated, sparse …
First off, love this island and its people. Please visit Bermuda - they love and need their tourism. Really easy travel. Airport is small and quick to navigate. We stayed at Rosewood Bermuda for long weekend before Xmas holiday … beautiful views and lovely foliage … interior room was very nicely appointed. Exterior of facilities felt a bit worn but that is to be expected in this climate and weather. (Hotel announced earlier this year a planned refurbishment but hasn’t started.) Staff was exceptionally nice, friendly, and attentive - loved everyone we met - but felt, at times, as though they were somewhat understaffed. General impression we got was that the facilities are more geared to the residents of Rosewood Residence than hotel guests. Not much in way of activities, limited gift shop, etc. seemed like it was more homeowners in the resort than hotel guests. Oddly, it was a difficult resort to walk as roads were very narrow and any green space was part of golf course. Food was exceptional. Spa was great, too, but very bare in set-up and shop. Golf course and facility were a highlight. Overall, location is beautiful but sparse and felt isolated from island (which for many would be a plus!)

Perfect family holiday, even in low season
Spent 4 nights here in advance of Thanksgiving. We were concerned that the weather would limit our enjoyment of the resort, but other than the first day which was very rainy, the rest of our stay was perfect - low to mid 70s and sunny. The resort is huge, and beautiful. We were in an Ocean View King Room, which was beautifully decorated and had an amazing view as advertised. The standout to us were the restaurants. Every single meal we had was delicious, and the service was always exceptional. Always feels good when folks remember your name and set up a high chair for your child right away without you even having to ask. Lunch at Sul Verde was amazing with sweeping views of the golf course. Drinks at the Beach Club overlooking the ocean was also great. And of course Island Brasserie was always solid. Customer service generally was exceptional across the resort. There were very very few times where we needed to look around for someone who could help us find something or order food or drinks. And they were always willing to help. We will definitely be back.
