Royal Solaris Los Cabos a home away from home.
Just finishing up the most amazing 10 day stay at our home away from home, Royal Solaris Los Cabos. Being someone who closely follows this page, some of the posts had made me worried that things had changed at this wonderful resort. I was very pleased and happy to say that I enjoyed every second of my stay. The employees are still incredibly accommodating and wonderful, the grounds were beautiful, clean and well-maintained, there was something delicious to eat around every corner. Our kiddos enjoyed kids club and they even took them to do a cooking class to make sushi in the restaurant. The new deli and coffee bar is so cute such a great addition. Every morning members breakfast was plentiful, clean, and we were welcomed with open arms. Lunch in the cafeteria was incredible. Getting reservations was proving to be tough, but the staff members were always there to lend to helping hand and get us what we needed. The entertainment staff are some very amazing talented people who work very hard. Our kiddos had the best time playing at the pool with the entertainment staff, watching the shows with the amazing dancers, and doing karaoke. The members exclusive bar was a great place to have a little nightcap and enjoy a little bit of nightlife. Our room was clean and everything was in working order. We had an amazing vacation with little to nothing to complain about. I feel very blessed to be a part of the royal Solaris family. ❤️ I would like to give honorable mention to to some of the employees that went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Karla our booking agent Jiar concierge Santos our concierge Fabio concierge Adrianna concierge Emmanuel at the members lounge Cesar and Sam and all the kids club staff Rosy and Socorro members pool bar Martin in the members breakfast Ramon pool bar All the staff is amazing and accommodating

Beware !!!! NO HEATED POOLS, ocean water was warmer.
Just came back home from a 3 night stay November 2024 (2 kids 2 adults) Pros: clean rooms, friendly staff, buffet food was decent with flavor . Cons: NO HEATED POOLS , the ocean water was warmer!!! Check in / check out was fast and easy . San Jose town felt safe, Uber prices and bus transportation was the way to go

Wonderful Employees of the Hotel
There are two employees that went way out of there way to make our stay memorable. Dee at the front desk was extremely helpful and made a huge impact on our trip. It was a special birthday and Miguel, one of the managers at Marco Polo Restaurant went out of his way to have dinner be a special celebration. Please give them out heart felt appreciation !!! Diane and Harley

Smaller resort, friendly, clean, a couple downsides but not enough to stop me from returning
The resort is pretty clean. Check in was a bit slow with not enough staff at the desk for the amount of guests arriving. The wait staff is attentive and friendly (Aaron from the buffet dining room was the best!). Our “garden view” room was not so much a garden but side yard however we weren’t here to spend our time in the room. The buffet was smaller with limited options but the resort is the smallest I have been to. There are extras not available if you aren’t a member, such as better food options at the a la carte restaurant, special bars with better booze and a sports bar. The main pool is very cold, the adult pool is just right. Great trip overall and I would return.

Average experience for our 4 day weekend.
The good: Dee Guerrero gets a 5 star rating (5/5). Dee’s hospitality, care, support, and overall effort, was bar none. She worked hard to help make our overall experience great, even helped facilitate our reservations, answer questions, and just the best. We were in contact throughout our stay. We really loved our couples massage. They did a great job. Dinner at Marco Polo was the only place we had good food. We had it 2 nights; one Italian and one Mediterranean menu. The nightly entertainment was good. The resort is nice, clean, kept up well. The not so good: Overall, the resort is definitely average and you get what you pay for. For an all inclusive (compared to many we’ve been to) food could have been much better. More specifically lunch sucked everyday, we opted to eat just pizza or buy off the resort. The lunch buffet was not good and the quick serve area with the burgers/nachos were terrible. The pizza was the best option; however, to get pizza it was made to order and when there’s a line of 10 people, you can expect to wait 30-45 mins. The hot tub at the spa was practically cold, so that was disappointing. The hot tub in the adult only area was closed completely. The water was so cold we wanted to just relax in a hot tub, but never got to. We ordered room service one night and we were up, but it never showed up. The Asian restaurant is only open Wed/Thur, so we were unfortunately not able to eat here during our stay. That was a bummer. Would we come back or recommend this place? Not really. If you’re on a tight budget, and don’t mind sacrificing on food, you’ll be ok.
