A group of 8 friends and family visited your resort for a short vacation. The visit started badly with poor check in procedures (could not locate booking). We then had to wait longer than the 3pm check in time for the room. The restaurants were not impressive. The service was not as good as the Royalton in Mexico that was excellent.

Where to start! First of all beware when booking at this resort. Looks are defiantly deceiving. The staff here are very unfriendly and not helpful at all. We arrived for a vacation that we thought would be wonderful only to turn out to be a nightmare. Upon arrival at the resort we were taken to the Diamond Club office to check in. There was the first mistake. Don't waste your money on that. Diamond Club was supposed to get you better amenities and a personal butler. The only thing it got us was half a pool to ourselves and a roped off beach to ourselves that no one monitored. Next to that rooms are all the same, service is all the same, food is all the same. We arrived at the resort at 3:00pm in the afternoon and was not allowed to take our luggage with us to the room. They said they would have to deliver it. BIG MISTAKE. Our luggage did not arrive until late that evening. We were not able to utilize the pools or beach the first day because of this. Once we did receive our things we were missing pieces of clothing. We had to file a report with the office. There was a buffet only for food offerings the day we arrived because you need dinner reservations. The buffet that night was served outside and everything was either half full or empty. Nothing was being kept hot or cold and nothing was sanitary. People were just helping themselves with their hands to food. We ended up eating at the bar with took 1 1/2 hours to get kids meals and then they even forgot one persons food. It took 2 days before our missing clothing was found "in the lost and found". The hotel itself needs to be maintained better. For a resort not to be that old it is ran down. No one is doing daily maintenance. The air conditioner for the whole resort was down our last 2 days. We had to ask for necessities like shampoo to be refilled. The day we left there were several other people like us in the Diamond Club office making complaints. You say something and they just make notes. No one does anything and they just say nothing. If going to Antigua I would defiantly stay somewhere else. I could go on and on. The property owner of this place needs to take a look at maybe having actual managers that do their job and manage their staff. It could do so much better.

If anyone decides to go to rhe gym, you won't be disappointed! Great facility with all the equipment necessary. Not to mention that their classes are amazing! Boot Camp with Mr. Awesome & Jameel were a really great workout and so was Coremax! Thank you gentlemen!

We are platinum elite members & travel extensively. While the resort area is lovely the staff and food were not. Check in (one person ahead of us being checked in while 2 others were busy ignoring guests. we Waited in line for 25 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Finally we get checked in, and the process takes another 15 minutes due to all the paperwork and staff member going in back room to use the printer, 3 times. While this may seem like a minor complaint, it was felt not only at first point of contact but throughout the resort. The resort vibe was totally blah, which is so disappointing as the view, pool and beach area were lovely, but were ruined by the lack of attitude and atmosphere. The food was always, always cold in the buffet, and they seriously were out of Coca Cola, and only one beer choice at sports bar. The room, especially, the bathroom was in a sad state, shower door leaking & definitely needing upgrade. Please, Start listening to the reviews as so many have posted same complaints and give your staff pay raises or incentives to do better…

Terrible service
This place is actually awful. Bad service, bad food, bad all around. We booked because we are loyal Marriott members, but wish we wouldn’t have. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY MARRIOTT NAME! It’s a subpar place with subpar service. Avoid if you can…this place is the most mediocre Caribbean place with absolutely awful service. Just don’t come
