  Daniel and Esteban- Great Butlers!

  Second time at Royalton CHIC Cancun. This is a very nice resort. We stayed on the 15th floor in a corner room- Diamond Club. Room and resort is very clean. Only complaint about our room was that there was a constant smell of food cooking. (??) The resort could use some general maintenance. There are a few loose tiles here and there and patchwork fixes throughout which was noticed as a difference from our last trip there 3 years ago. We had Daniel and Esteban as our butlers. The butler service was understaffed but these 2 guys were great and worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable. We could see them during the day working very hard with other guests as well. Overall, had a nice relaxing stay here.

  Good place for the value

  These people made the Experience even better. ALEX D, DANIEL, LUIGI, FERNANDA, ADILENE, EDDY, DARWIN, WILLEY, SALVATORE. The Hospitality was very good from all them. The elevators are horrible. Waiting alot but ok. Check in was good. Food was good. They have a coffee bar. It was good. Drinks were good. The only thing I did not like was they wanted to up Charge you to the Diamond Club. And it was not worth it. Too expensive. For what u get. When the diamond club people was hanging out with us. Because nobody was partying on the roof top. Charge non members 7 dollars a beer. Then they would come down and hang at the regular pool area.

  Exceptional Place To Visit

  We celebrated my boyfriend’s 55th birthday, and had the BEST TIME EVER!!! We arrived with several staff members greeting us and ready to assist. Then we opted in for the Diamond Club so we were taken straight to the Diamond Club section, in there you have drinks and some light snacks and/or finger foods. The staff were very helpful and informative. After that we were escorted to our room, where we met one of our butlers (they have shifts to assist you so you have two), Arturo! Arturo was amazing. He’s also professional; polite; and overall a very helpful. We kept missing Samara but when we did finally meet her, it was a true pleasure. Samara is polite; friendly; professional and also very helpful. The resort is amazing; the food is awesome; the parties are so much fun; the restaurants were delicious; everyone that we encountered there were so friendly; and the staff is terrific but Arturo and Samara are exceptional. I just want to say, thank you to the staff, Javier; Luis; Arturo; Samara; Alfredo and Chris!!! I know there’s more but I’m terrible with names but I just wanted to say, THANK YOU to everyone there!!! This being my boyfriend’s first out of the country trip, this resort hands down was the best choice and it could not and would not have been a better option!! Also, make sure you join the Prime Club, it’s an amazing club!! Also, make sure to do the following tours which you can book right through the resort: the zip line; ATV and cenote “Adventure Tours” and the Mayan Tours. I could go on and on but I’m going to stop now. The bottom line is you won’t be disappointed in any way going to this resort!!! 🥰🥰

  Karen’s 55th Birthday

  Samara and Arturo were the best Butlers! They were very informative, attentive, and hospitable. Their service is impeccable!! The Royalton Chic Diamond Club deserves a chef’s kiss!!! We had the experience to check in via the Diamond Club check in lounge which was a smooth process, not to mention the food and drinks in the lounge was a delight. I would highly recommend this resort. I would also recommend to take advantage of the spa. It was such a tranquil experience!!

  Winter break

  We have just arrived back off our 2 week trip to this beautiful hotel. The rooms were huge! The bed was huge! Very very clean I can’t fault our cleaner she was the nicest person I have ever met and went above and beyond for us with whatever we needed I think her name was Maria. The beds are the comfiest things I’ve ever slept on I usually miss my own bed on holiday but not this time! The staff were great so friendly and so helpful. I didn’t feel there was a great variety of food I got a tomato pasta freshly cooked infront of me on one of the nights and asked for Parmesan cheese and they never had it just little things like that let the food down. Also the fact they don’t have straws in the hotel so when I was having a cocktail by the pool I had to use the end of my sunglasses to mix it up when the syrup started to separate and also the cocktails aren’t fully blended they do have big chunks of ice in so the amount of times I spilt them all over me due to the ice let’s just say it would of been better with a straw or even a stirer! Just something to keep in mind if you are a cocktail drinker. SUNBEDS this was our biggest concern we get up for work 6am/7am at home I don’t want to be doing the same thing on holiday my boyfriend had to get up at 7am everyday to ensure we had a sunbed each if you get up any later you literally will be sat by the pool bar or stood round until at least 3pm when people start leaving even the beach beds they were always full I don’t think for a high star rating hotel that this should be the case. Also the lifts they take so long to come down it may sound silly but you will understand what I mean if you do decide to go you are stood waiting more or less every time we were stood waiting for 5 minutes to the point were that many people are waiting you all can’t fit in the lift and have to wait again and then it stops on every single floor it is a bit of an annoyance. We ate in chopsticks twice in the hotel and that was beautiful really really nice food and also the sports bar is a good laugh when you’ve come up from the pool few snacks game of pool after a few drinks we loved it in there. Overall our stay was really really good great the hotel pool entertainment was great we had so many laughs and the nighttime entertainment was great also there was always something to do if you weren’t going out for the night the location so much to do round there the mall is 5 mins in a taxi, your expensive restraunts Harry’s, Tabboo all them they are about 10 mins in a taxi CoCo Bongo is walking distance from the hotel. Great stay and would return thank you!
