Jan 21, 2025Beautiful grounds but terrible beach.
While this resort has gorgeous grounds surrounded by natural mangroves and well-maintained pathways, the beach experience is extremely underwhelming. Despite the stunning photos on their website, the actual beach is very small, with chairs crammed together and limited spots offering a view of the water. Access to the ocean is practically nonexistent, with less than a one-foot-wide pathway leading to a rocky underwater area that’s difficult to navigate, especially with so many guests trying to use it. For those expecting a relaxing or swimmable beach, this resort falls far short of expectations. The lack of transparency about the beach is disappointing, especially considering there’s a much better one just 10 minutes away—but no shuttle service is provided to take advantage of it. While the staff, food, shows, and rooms were all lovely, it’s hard to recommend this resort to anyone prioritizing a true beachfront experience. For the price, you’d be better off choosing a place with a beach that lives up to the promise.

Currently staying at this resort. If you come don’t expect to eat at ANY A La Carte’s. Haven’t been able to book one yet and most people I have talked to are having the same problem. First of all they use a website to book them. Can only book for that day and elite and time-share clients can book in advance. With so many guess I would think there would be more A La Carte but nope very limited!! The food at the buffet are mediocre gets tiresome after so many days.

Food sucked, service was mediocre, resort was not very clean. Not recommended. Looking at the price vs what you get in the resort it was definitely not worth it. The pool wasn’t very clean and all of the food was bland and not warm. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for a family vacation, there are definitely better options in the area.

Great resort with lots of different things to do. Very family friendly but if you're bringing little ones, bring a stroller as the resort is quite big and alot of walking to get around. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The resort is a great jungle-type atmosphere with lots of local wildlife right on the resort, i.e. spider monkeys, iguanas, coatis, turtles and more. There was no problem getting chairs at the pool; the beach was good, but a bit rocky and weedy. The food was great, but found it hard to book at the ala cart restaurants, however the buffets were good with lots of variety. I highly recommend this resort - it's the best one I've been to and would go back!

Wonderful.
Amazing service, Julisa and Fabiola were just perfect and really brought our makeup and hair references to life. Thank you so much! The resort is so expansive and beautiful as well. The food has been nothing short of amazing and the drinks have been perfect.
