Know that the beach is small and has lots of rocks. So be sure to bring your beach shoes to go in. Also many waves and perfect for surfers;many of them. Great views from hotel but isolated. So taxis or excursions needed to go out and visit towns nearby or Puerto Vallarta. Great breakfast restaurant and good food and bar service everywhere on site

Worst treatment in administration, don't believe a word they say, is only to hook you up, any low rate hotel chain has better service, backs up it's word and sustains what had been said. We had a credit in the resort, asked beforehand where it could be used so we went to buy some stuff. At our checkout the manager said it was an invalid credit for the hotel shop, so merchandise couldn't be returned and we had to pay for the full amount. If you go out of your balcony in a partial ocean view which almost all rooms are, because of the architecture of the building, you have as neighbors busses, taxis and drivers, cero privacy, awful. We asked for a change because of the lack of privacy, the noise they make every time they go back and forth, and they didn't change our room. Every time we had an issue always the answer was unfavorable an to their advantage. The beach is super small, and full of stones. Almost or no night entertainment, and everything closes at 12:30am. If you feel like partying, too bad because there is nothing to do. Sadly, the people in charge of the Lobby, the super bossy and bad mannered manager Jorge Chavez made of our stay a really unpleasant one. Don't recommend at all staying there, their supposed diamonds qualify lower than stars just because of the despotism of the people in reception.

We got married here and I can’t even begin to describe how perfect everything was. It was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we arrived to the time we departed, we had the most incredible time. The service every single day with every single staff was outstanding. The spa was also one of the highlights. We came here last year and we had a few critiques about it but every single thing we mentioned from our review last year had been improved and it far exceeded our expectations. We visited the spa about 3-4 different times. I have nothing but great things to say about all the things they improved on and I can’t wait to be back for our anniversary. I wish we could rewind our wedding week here with our family and friends. It was the greatest week of our lives.

Secrets Bahia Mita - beautiful resort and amazing staff
Secrets Bahia Mita is a beautiful resort. Our room was amazing and the staff goes out of their way to treat you like royalty. Food is very good and we love the 8th floor preferred pool. There were many whales spotted which is always a treat!! My husband had an awesome massage at the spa as well. We will be back!

Gina Alvarez del Castillo on the UVC members team is extremely helpful!
I visited Secrets Bahía Mita last March 2024 as a solo traveler. While there Gina Alvarez del Castillo on the UVC members team was extremely helpful. Knowing that I was a solo traveler, she offered a lot of great recommendations on activities around the resort, helped me arrange a few reservations, and did a wonderful job introducing me to others throughout my visit. In fact I had such a nice time, that one year later I'm now returning with my family and plan to stay over on the Dreams side. With that in mind, I reached out to Gina in advance to ask a few questions. She not only remembered me, but she has been very helpful and responsive to my questions ahead of our arrival, and helped make a few advance arrangements. Sometimes it's easy to feel lost in a large resort, but when you see this level of care for guest, it simply must be shared. :) If you are visiting Secrets or Dreams Bahia Mita, keep an eye out for Gina on the UVC members team! She's amazingly knowledgeable and will have great suggestions for how to make your visit memorable!
