  Always Good to Come Home!

  We are loyal Secrets Maroma vacationers, and we would like to take a moment to say how amazing our April trip was this year. A special thank you to GM Javier Estelrich and his amazing staff @Secrets Maroma for making this a memorable vacation. Special shout out to the Rooms Division Mgr. Johanna Reside for making sure our entire stay was one for the memory books. Special Thanks to our bldg. concierge Vivi for checking in on us every morning, to make sure we had everything we needed for the day and evenings. The Food and Drink Quality at this resort is over the top and Special thanks to Denis, Diego, Ruben, Juan Mora, Cesar and Francisco for making sure our experiences were amazing and delightful. Our dinner experiences at El Patio with Veronica and Jorge, Himitsui with Yesenia and at Portofino with Esteban were out of this world. Thanks to Daytime Mgr. Rodrigo, Pool Concierge Bramdon and the team of Rene, Alberto, Gaspar and Ana for their amazing customer service during our stays at the pool/beach. Our favorite bartender Arturo in the Preferred lounge made us our Famous Margarita drink, each day and they were over the top. Special thank you to the lobby servers Jessica and Carmen for making sure we were being taken care of during the daytime and nighttime visits to the lobby. Big Shout out to the Sommelier Team of Ivan, Janet and Jordan for all the great Tequila and wine selections that we experienced during our stay. Thank you to our Housekeeper Grabriela for making sure our room was taken care of each day. Again, a special thanks to Mr. Javier Estelrich, Johanna Reside and the amazing staff @Secrets Maroma for going out of their way to make sure the entire week was special, and it will go down in the memory banks as another "OVER THE TOP" vacay! We will be back very soon!

  The Secrets Maroma is Spectacular!

  This was our second time to Secrets Maroma with friends. The resort is as delightful and pristine as we left it three years ago. It was a delight to see so many familiar faces, many of who remembered us from visiting in 2022. Our Concierge, Ms. Viviana (Vivi) was exceptional. She was present and responsive to all our needs. She is the consummate professional, knowledgeable and very resourceful. Thank you! Beach and Pool Staff: This team is happy, cheerful, thoughtful and always engaging. Never forgetting our names and greeting us each day with warmth and affection. Thank you all so much for making our second stay so joyful! ---- Alejandra, Elio, Ana, Einer, Eder, and Manuel. The wait staff throughout the resort is excellent. We saw many familiar faces and they are engaging and want to ensure guests are pleased with the cuisine and service. There are so many of you that touched us. The Preferred Beach Club: There is so much to say and so many to thank in this restaurant. The managers and staff made us feel special everyday. Managers Felipe and Julio worked with staff to ensure several special meals for our group. On one occasion, Chef Lauro made us an amazing octopus for lunch; thank you Chef! On our last day, Managers Felipe and Julio also arranged for chefs Victor and Anita to make us authentic Yucatan breakfast called Salbutes. They were delicious! Felipe and Julio are excellent in their own rights BUT they could not do it without their EXCEPTIONAL staff: The hostess, Estrella (a true STAR), always greeted us with a warm smile and ensured a little something special everyday. The entire wait staff treated us like they knew us for many years; always professional and served with smiles and laughter. Thank you! ---- Matteo, Jose, Richard, Ricardo, Fernando, Alberto, Wilbert, and bar tenders Manuel and Jose. The Himitsu: We loved the food so much, we dined there three times! The manager, Ms. Yesenia, is outstanding! The place is so busy and she moves around like lightning speed. She was so engaging and accommodating every time we visited. Thank you! And to the amazing staff there as well! --- Chef Francisco who made a special sushi platter for a large group of us that was out of this world! The amazing wait staff – Antonio, Darwin, Francisco, Elmer and Carlos. And, of course, the hostess, Ms. Perla. The Bordeaux: The food and wait staff is excellent. A special thank you to Senor Pablo who made our visit lovely. The World Café: It was wonderful to see and old friend who took good care of us when we visited; Mr. Alejandro! Special thank you to Chefs Ruben and Juan Moro! We were fortunate to be invited to a special lunch at the Oceana with other guests we met there. These chefs made us an amazing surf and turf lunch! Thank you chefs! Bar Manager and Staff: We want to give a very special thank you to Arturo Sancho a lovely manager we met early in our stay. He invited a group of us to join him in the lobby to make special mezcalitas. They were delicious! Thank you Mr. Arturo! We also want to thank other lobby and bar staff that were attentive and cheerful: Carmen, Clary, and Jessica. Thank you to the Preferred Bar staff: Mario, Hans, and Andres. Special thanks to all security personnel. It was a pleasure to speak with security guard Julio Santander who we saw most days on our daily walks. I enjoyed one day in the spa and took advantage of the hydrotherapy circuit and scheduled a massage. It was an amazing experience. Thank you to Noelia, Gisela, Carla, and Ms. Dorca who performed a masterful massage. A very super thank you to our room service staff; they were OUTSTANDING: Ms. Gabriela and Mr. Humberto. Our stay at Secrets Maroma was as delightful as the first time! Highly recommended resort!

  Best service ever!

  I had a fantastic stay with my wife at Secrets Maroma Beach. Everything about the hotel was first rate. The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach well away from the main road. The rooms and gardens are fabulous and are maintained diligently. There is an excellent choice of different restaurants, which are available to all, with the exception of the Preferred Beach Club. This offers breakfast and lunch in a quiet location near the beach, but we also tried the main buffet restaurant for these meal times on several occasions and we were blown away by the huge choice of dishes. Every day the hotel offers a multitude of activities, from kayaking to cookery lessons, to fitness activities in the pool, archery, dance lessons, macrame and many more. In the evenings, the entertainment options are plentiful and of an impressive standard. When we were there, there were corporate events at the weekend, which changed the feeling of the hotel and made it seem somehow less relaxed; but this is really the only negative we could identify in a wonderful holiday. The single best part about the hotel are the people working there. We have travelled widely, and this level of service is truly exceptional! It’s impossible to single out everyone, because all the people you encounter are kind and helpful. The staff work tirelessly to keep the gardens, buildings and beach looking immaculate, including daily removal of seaweed from the beach as needed. The animation team - including the tremendous Mauri, Sebastien, Mauricio and Alexis - are full of energy and ideas and are very funny! All of the bar and restaurant staff are attentive and considerate, and we would like to thank all of the staff at the Preferred Beach Club as well as Anna, Bernardo, Vitor and Felix in the Italian and Asian restaurants. Our biggest thanks go to the wonderful Gabriella, who was managing the World Cafe during our visit, as well as working in Portofino in the evenings. She is simply superb, and we were very sorry to say goodbye to her at the end of our holiday! We can certainly see ourselves returning to this fabulous hotel, for many reasons but particularly because of the dedication of the people working there!

  Best hotel I have ever been to

  By far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The restaurants are top drawer and the staff are even better. Nothing was too much trouble. A truly fantastic experience that is incredible value for money. The attention to detail was what sets this hotel apart

  Go to this place!!!

  This is the ultimate in rest relaxation, pampering and fun. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Just so lovely, helpful and friendly. Truly wonderful. Big shout out to Bernardo who searched us cocktails in the many bars. A true gentleman and exceptional at his job!
