Ok but not as amazing as the reviews make out!

We arrived and we were so excited! The entrance was stunning, reception were originally so nice and then we got to our room… Our room balcony door didn’t lock and there was a serious damp problem and smell in our room. After travelling for a whole day, we spent 45 minutes watching them try and fix our door and they just put in a dehumidifier which helped the condensation but not at all the smell. I then had to argue with reception for 45 minutes to get a new room and they proceeded to try and gaslight me into taking a worst room. We finally got a workable room which was stunning when we got there! However after 24 hours of travelling, it was late so we ordered room service, they forgot our order and when I called to chase up, they then apologised and said they’d get it asap. So all in all the hotel was a complete fail on the first night! The rooms itself, are very big and the house keeping do a really good job. Bed is super comfy! We spent most of our time at the middle pool and it was lovely, can’t rate the pool staff enough but you have to get there early to get a prime sun lounger with shade (I was there at 7:30 every day and the sun loungers were all full between 8-8:30). The top main pool is nice but has so many cracks and missing bits of the floor that it hurts to walk in. The bottom pool is the rowdy pool and is quite dirty so I’d bare that in mind. Food wise, breakfast and lunch are great! However, dinner wasn’t. The food was pretty bad in nearly every resturant and you have to wait 45mins to get seated every single night. This hotel also isn’t very veggie friendly so I also really struggled. All in all, I’d rate dinner a 2/5. We met people in the pool who were returning for their second year in a row and they said the food has really gone down hill since last year. There was just enough wrong, that this isn’t a 5*+ hotel and not worth the money paid!

Fantastic 12 Days @ Secrets Moxche.

We spent 11 nights at Secrets Moxché. We’d like to thank the entertainment staff who made the experience and days around the hotel endlessly enjoyable - they are all extremely kind and passionate, and make you feel very welcome. Whether it was Beach Volleyball, Water Volleyball, evening entertainment or creating bracelets, they were always very attentive and full of energy. Special mention to Julio, Sergio, Christian, Aranza, Monika (Hi-Ya), Jessica, Daniella, Miguel and Gabriela. The hotel was spotless, although the pools become a little mucky by the end of the week. The rooms were modern, spacious and kept clean and re-stocked with supplies. We booked a tropical view but the view was far from it and overlooked a construction site, but we didn’t mind too much as it did have a view of the ocean as compensation. We also didn’t get a bath on the balcony which was a shame. The restaurants were great, and all had unique styles. Suki and Allora were the best out of the bunch. Breakfast and Lunch at the market cafe could not be faulted, and all of the staff were consistently available to help take orders or clear up finished food. We had a fantastic stay at Secrets Moxche, and would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Wonderful vacation at Impressions Secrets Moxché!

My husband and I had a great anniversary trip / baby moon at Impressions Secrets Moxche. The resort is new, clean, and very luxurious. We really enjoyed the main pool at Moxche (Jacobo was the best pool attendant - always made sure we had a great set up and would move the umbrella throughout the day so we were always in the shade), the activities and entertainment team (Aranza, Sergio, and Felix were all spectacular), and specialized butler service at the impressions side (s/o Gilberto and Rafael). As with most all inclusive, I didn’t have high expectations for the food, but was pleasantly surprised with both the quality and variety at the different restaurants (Seaside, Sea Soul, and Bisou were our favorites). Can’t wait to come back!
