Gorgeous all-inclusive with excellent service
Butlers Adrian and Alejandro treated us wonderfully. They helped schedule everything so I didn’t need to lift a finger. The grounds are stunning, the beach is clean, and the chefs worked with my gluten allergy very well. We would 100% recommend!

Another excellent Secrets Resorr!
We have been to many Secrets Resorts and this is our favorite! We have no complaints, only all positive The food was delicious, ambience in all the restaurants were superb, our room was comfortable, great pillows and bed! The resort has been open for just 11 months but so lush! Firepits were located throughout the property,. Nice big beach, great for walking. Swing bars right on the beach also. Entertainment was always present, whether it be music by the pools, before and after dinner music, nightly shows were all good, and late night music and activities at Desires Lounge. We will definitely return!

The best of Playa Blanca!
This was our first time at Secrets Playa Blanca but it won't be our last!! Beach - The beach is a highlight at the resort. With 10km/6 miles of white sand beach, it’s a beach walking dream! There are a number of resorts on the beach but other than Planet Hollywood, Majestic, and the Rius, there are very few people. And there is very little sargassum. We were told the island (e.g., Isla de Mujeres) blocks it from coming ashore. Property – The grounds are beautiful! It’s hard to believe it’s been open for less than year with the mature vegetation. Even the building roofs are filled with greenery. Another plus was that all the restaurants had outdoor seating so we didn’t have to sit in air-conditioned restaurants. Suites – the rooms were amazing! They were very large, with a huge shower and tub. And there were two basins. Suite 3508 had an amazing ocean view and a view of the grounds. We really enjoyed being on the 5th floor. Food – the food was really good. Our favourites were duck (Bordeaux), the shrimp tacos (Oceana), and fish of the day, particularly the salmon (Seaside Grill). All the restaurants were able to accommodate my garlic allergy which was fantastic! I appreciated them asking about garlic allergies before taking our order and then when the food was served, it was great that they confirmed. Service – the staff were amazing! They were so friendly and really tried to be helpful. While all the staff were great, there were a few standouts: Ello (Oceana) was always smiling and he showed us some great magic tricks 😊; Isaac (Oceana/Seaside Grill) was the host and told us about the Mayan dinner and made a reservation for us; Francisco (Bordeaux) served us at our first night in the French restaurant and provided excellent, personable service; Maruricio (Preferred Lounge) remembered our drinks and our names and always had time for a bit of a conversation; Martin and Stelian (butlers) tried to provide whatever help we needed including bringing us different pillows and nuts, they also left a beautiful rose petal message for our anniversary; Enrique (Café coco) made the best cappuccinos and remembered our special requests and had the best smile! Other – Do not use the ATM at the resort! We didn’t get to the bank before we left and didn’t have quite enough US$ for tipping. We paid a small fortune in fees for the privilege of using the machine plus it gave us a $50 bill with writing on it so the resort would not exchange it for smaller bills. Overall – We would definitely go back to Secrets Playa Blanca. The beach was incredible but so was the resort and its staff!

Unbelievable resort and even better staff!
We had an amazing trip to Secrets PB! Zero complaints and only praise. I highly recommend staying here and take advantage of the preferred rooms, it’s very much worth the extra money. The extra perks are great but I can’t say more about the service. Our Butlers Stelian and Martin were incredible, friendly and helpful with advice and always available to chat. Anything we asked for was done when and how they said it would be. It was incredible. So many other workers also gave us great service, Martin, Rafael, Elias, Celest and Guadeloupe around the preferred pool and bar are all incredible. Endy at ElPatio is an incredible server. The resort is clean, easy to get around and just overall a great experience. The food and variety is incredible. Stay here you won’t be disappointed!
