Luxury at its finest
The resort is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food at all the restaurants was exceptional. Drinks from the bars were great and they had everything I wanted. Very friendly staff. Entertainment daily by the pool and things to do nightly. Will go back.

The BEST!
This was our second stay at SPM and just the same as the first time, we absolutely didn’t want to leave. Not only have some of the staff become our friends, but they make you feel like family too! This resort has something to do for everyone.. Golf, Jet Ski, Ocean, many Restaurants, several Pools, and more! The Entertainment Team especially Felix, Jesus, Enrique, & Carlitos were some of the best we have experienced and met! Jazmin & Juan the servers at the Pool are completely amazing! Some of the best hospitality we have experienced thus far being UVC Members. Will definitely be back after renovations are complete!

Overall ok
Overall resort was a bit dated but we knew upgrades are coming. Pitching for timeshare meeting with multiple subsequent texts was annoying. Check-in was easy and fine. Room was ready a couple hours early. Resort was a bit more sprawled out than we were used to with other Secrets. Constant golf carts to restaurants/entertainment was a bit much but service was quick. Food was ok. Buffet decent as expected, but some places were very slow service. Sushi was great at Japanese steakhouse. Seafood restaurant was less than expected. Entertainment was decent, some bands way too loud.Bryan was awesome! Keep him. Plugs for timeshare meetings were annoying, especially the numerous texts… Salva Golf course was really nice, but greens a bit rough. Beach was nicely manicured and overall good. Not as nice as other Secrets we have been to, but will reconsider after remodel next year. Dreams next door was really nice for families. Honestly not a tom of kids running around. Lazy river was peaceful. Overall, will wait for upgrade next year. 8.2/10

Relaxing Vaca at Secrets Playa Mujeres
We went from 11/9-16. We are members of UVC. It was not filled to capacity - or did not appear to be, which we enjoyed thoroughly. Overall our stay was just wonderful. We did get an upgrade to a swim-up which was quite enjoyable to experience. The food and beverages were quite good as always. The Market Cafe for breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets we have experienced in all of the Secrets that we have vacationed at. The pillows are "squishy" which we were not fans of. I still do not understand why hotels put such heavy comforters on beds when you are in a warm location. TOO HOT!! LOVED the shower - overhead rain shower is the BEST!! Again the staff are always so pleasant, happy and willing to help in any way that they can. Would suggest "lounge music" in the Preferred Lounge. Pool area is lovely. Seemed to have plenty of seats without having to get out at 5am to reserve a seat. The beach area is very nice and appreciate that there are Preferred specific areas. The beach was a great place to start my days with a sunrise walk. Sand was SO soft! Overall we had a great time when we needed a "chill" vacation.

Excellent resort, but showing signs of wear.
Secrets Mujeres Playa is an excellent resort, although now showing its age in wear and tear effects. Staff were outstanding , restaurants very good both in variety and food quality, and the beach is excellent. The gym has many machines, but many are elderly and need to be replaced. Pools are excellent, but the resort suffers badly from people putting towels on seats and not returning for hours.
