Relax and rest
Amazing trip experience overall, especially the bracelet experience with Daniela. She is so friendly and knowledgeable about bracelet making. We definitely enjoyed chatting with her all along! I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team for their patience, warmth, and professionalism. They made my stay memorable and left a lasting positive impression. I will undoubtedly recommend this hotel to others and look forward to visiting again.

Mostly Wonderful...but, small improvements could make this place Spectacular!
THE GOOD AND THE NOT SO GOOD: All in all, NOT a bad resort. The STAFF are WONDERFUL! Friendly, engaging and a pleasure to deal with. The beach is beautiful, and the resort is clean and well maintained. It is to be closed for renovations, which is a good thing. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty to choose from, no matter what your diet is. We enjoyed this more than anything else. The a la cartes had certain items that were amazing, and others, not so much. There was an inconsistency throughout each visit to the a la cartes. Not sure why. But, you certainly will not be short of options. The COCO Cafe was great...not many options for sweets, but, the coffees were amazing. The pool area was very loud, almost all day. I guess the 'younger' people can deal with all the loud music, entertainment and endless activity...so, if you want peace and quiet, your option is the beach. Beach is beautiful, white sand and good service for drinks...that was our experience. The only thing I found missing, was the little palapas on the beach (free ones that is). The free huts were the flimsy cloth ones that we could not use due the winds meant being under sun all day. This was the very first resort we have been to that does NOT offer any lifejackets, snorkelling masks, goggles, water sports etcetc... It was not the end of the world, just a first at an all-inclusive. Not sure why... The rooms are cleaned very good, though, we did not have hot water in the soaker tub on the porch, which was too bad. Again, not trying to be 'crazy picky' but, it would have been nice to take a soak at night. All in all, its a fairly quiet resort...so, if your looking for a big party, this may not be the place for you. We personally want peace and quiet so it was fine for us.

Exactly what we hoped and more
Our trip to Secrets Playa de Mujeres was the absolute best vacation we have ever taken. The customer service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating our 25th anniversary and my 50th birthday. The staff made sure we felt special at every turn. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The restaurants and bars all had a great variety and ambience. Every need we had was met and then some. We can't wait to come back after the renovations are complete. I hope Delmi, Michael, Carlos, Jamie and Martha are all still there when we come back, because they made our stay a memory that won't soon be forgotten.

Awesome Honeymoon trip! Top notch service
We absolutely loved our stay at Secrets. The food, and more importantly, the service were top notch. We felt so welcomed and treated by everyone there. The views of the pool and ocean were awesome too. This was our honeymoon and we love every minute of it! The waitstaff was incredible, including Luis at Bordeux, as well as Cristina at the Market Cafe, Ivan at Seaside Grill, Eduardo at the buffet, and Jaime Laguas, Martha Barrientos, Alejandro Witzil, and Frankcelly at the pool. Armando helped us at the front desk and was great. The food was very good - I specifically loved the variety of the buffet, while my wife enjoyed more of the fine-dining experiences at the restaurants, specifically the Mediterranean meal at Dreams. We had a great experience at the Spa with hydrotherapy and massages - Mine and Betsy were both great. This was our first time in Mexico and at an all-inclusive resort and could not recommend this place enough. We have a wonderful travel agent who found us this place (Thank you Lorie!).

Beautiful resort, amazing staff
Great food and drinks. Wonderful staff. The resort is beautiful and will be amazing when refinished. Dreams next door is a great addiction. Easy to get around with the golf carts. We had a great time, would highly recommend. Not one bad experience.
