Awesome experience at the Secrets, way exceeded my expectation. Reading reviews before the trip, I was worried about food quality. It is subjective but I think the food there is very good. Not necessarily Michelin Star but very close. Service was awesome across the board and the rooms are very nice. Entertainment and activities were nice too, not spectacular but good enough to keep us busy and entertained. The grounds were fantastic, the views were beautiful. Our most favorite experience is breakfast at Oceano. We will definitely be back!

This is a great resort!
The entire staff was very helpful and eager to assist! The food and drinks were top-notch, and I loved my room! The staff would call periodically to check to see if we needed anything! Every day at the pool, the staff would check on me constantly and knew me by name from the very first day! Highly recommend staying here!

5-night stay
We had a great experience during our stay at Secrets, and one of the unexpected highlights was the bike tour led by Delmer. From the moment we met him, Delmer’s energy, professionalism, and passion for what he does stood out. He was not only knowledgeable about the area but also made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and safe throughout the ride. Delmer shared fascinating local history and pointed out hidden gems along the way that we never would’ve found on our own. His warm personality, great sense of humor, and genuine care for each guest made the tour feel personal and engaging. It was the perfect balance of fun, exercise, and cultural insight. If you’re staying at Secrets and looking for something active and memorable, don’t miss the bike tour—and definitely ask for Delmer. He truly made it a five-star experience!

Alex five stars
Alex was our server. I give him five stars, everything was perfect. Me and my wife's first times at dreams hotel. And so far the first night we ate at oceanic where we met alex our waiter greeted us with open arms. Explain everything on the menu to us. And was very excited, it was my birthday. Thank you for everything, alex, one of the five stars.

Surpassed Expectations!
I'm always a little wary of all inclusive resorts... will I have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a chair by the pool? Will the drinks be watered down? Will the food be good??? Secrets Puerto Los Cabos surpassed all expectations! My three friends and I have traveled to a number of all inclusive hotels and found Secrets to be top tier. We booked two Preferred Club double swim out rooms so we were in buildings next to one another (6 and 7). We couldn't get adjoining rooms simply because there's only one double swim out room per building. Makes sense given that Secrets markets more to couples. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms were perfect for my roommate and I- two vanities and a separate door on the loo. We really didn't need the swim out capacity. It didn't connect to any larger pool and we ended up spending our time at the Preferred pool which, because of the umbrellas available was often shadier than our swim out was, was quieter than the main pool, and was situated with a gorgeous view of the ocean where we could watch whales. Yes, many people did get their towels out on pool chairs early but we found that there was always room at the Preferred pool, even when we didn't get out until 10 am or later. And, when there weren't 4 chairs together, Savir (the pool attendant) moved chairs around to get us a comfortable spot. Savir also found that I liked a bit of shade and came by periodically to move the umbrella so I was always comfortable. Definitely worth it to get the Preferred Club rooms simply for Savir's service and this pool! That said, Anai and Angel kept us well hydrated and fed while were were lounging- excellent service all around. While I'm on the Preferred Club amenities, it's also worth the upcharge for the Club due to the separate check in/check out area which also has a small bar and snacks. It was right by our rooms so we visited that often! Finally, the food and drinks... Excellent. My friends and I LOVED the Italian restaurant (would have gone twice if it would have been open on Mondays!) as well as the Japanese restaurant (though we did not do the hibachi table- that is the only thing you would want to make a reservation for). I really liked the seafood restaurant, Oceana, as well, and my friends enjoyed the Mexican restaurant. The drinks at all of the bars and restaurants were excellent though we did need to ask which different vodka's, gins, or bourbons were available at each as they differed some. Even the breakfast buffet was good- made to order omelette's, crepes, and fresh fruit and other specialties. The staff at this hotel work hard- bring some bills to tip! There is an ATM in the lobby and you can get change but better to come prepared. Overall, my friends and I would definitely stay again (yes, it's a Secrets, but we didn't feel out of place as a group of 4 friends), and I'm already working on getting my husband to join me on a trip there as well!
