Denisse and Evelyn - kids club

Denisse and Evelyn at the Sheratoons Kids Club at this resort are amazing!! My daughters, 7 and 8 years, LOVE them. They make the experience very comfortable and fun for the children and very easy for the parents as well. I can very highly recommend.

My favorite resort in Puerto Vallarta… Sheraton Buganvilias

This is my favorite resort in Puerto Vallarta… The resort is very well kept, all of the employees are very friendly. Our housekeeper Esmeralda always wore a smile and cleaned the room impeccably. There are two pools available…one is quieter than the other, where activities are held.

Bad Value , Poor Service, Food Mediocre At Best, No Evening Entertainment , Time Share Vultures , Move On Like Others

Some Context , I have been to this hotel many times of the years and its has declined a lot this visit , we will likely move on to somewhere thats a better value where staff are happy and food and service better , I am a Marriot Lifetime Titanium elite so it takes a lot Time Share Vultures These people are irritating , even more so now , they hang around the lobby all day and evening , they even have one at the walk out in the morning if you leave with your wife that want to know if you are going to another presentation , its none of there business where you are going Occupancy The hotel is much quieter that it used to be , i am advised its been like this for a year or so , it was a geriatric crowd , they seemed to have lost their airline contracts and people just aren't coming, i can understand why There seems to be rumours of PVR tourism declining by air , could see why if its like this every where Pricing Whether paying with cash or points value is not there , they have upped their prices and lowered the quality, better values elsewhere, all inclusive patrons very minimal Food Service Has declined quite a bit and more expensive now , the restaurants were very empty during our time there and they used to have lineups , the food quality has declined and the buffet is not up to what it was, they have a new restaurant , but every one i spoke to weren't impressed by the quality let alone the pricing, may be why airlines not packaging Service Would order ice to the room it would never come even if you called again We sat in the bar and waited for an hour before we were even talked to and it wasn't that busy, just a sample of the situation Booked some reservations they couldn't even get that right Good luck getting any information from staff you will get 4 different answers and even the video boards are out of date , a bit of a clown show Never seem to have pesos available for change Entertainment Daytime the usual , but little to no evening entertainment and they don't even to know which nights it might be there , again a bit of a clown show Staff Morale As you can imagine we have known the staff many years and with the slow down their morale isn't great , on one of my visits was just after all the front desk and concierges had walked out to get better wages Hotel Management There was a new general manager appointed a couple years ago has been going down hill since such a shame , oh and don't expect the GM to actually engage , requested to speak with 3 times over issues but didn't even engage until I filed case with Marriot , such poor response to case file as well Conclusion Great facility , now overpriced for what is worth in cash or points, slow with geriatric crowd and some families Just bad value thats all , as they say move on other people and airlines obviously have Thanks as always to the lounge staff on 23 Guess owners just don't care or cant afford to keep well run , or just bad leadership , just not our problem A note we were booked to 2 different resorts this trip , the second one non marriot was fantastic, busy , great service , happy staff , great entertainment

Everything is NO at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort

We were so excited to have our first company retreat at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort! We got the 10 room package with unlimited drinks and food! Boy were we wrong! One word that describes this trip is No! No, you can’t get a drink even though the pool bar closes at 6:00 pm and you ask for a drink at 5:45pm. No, you can’t pick whether you want soup or salad at the restaurant. You get delivered what was chosen for you by the hotel staff. No, you can’t order appetizers, the manager, Alejandro told us it is not his fault that we made a mistake with the reservation time, so you can’t order appetizers. No, you have to pay for your meals at the restaurant near the bar. No, we can’t find your reservation. No, we can give you late check out. No, you can’t order room service since you are ordering a lot of food for 3 people. So why get the unlimited food and drink package when you are told NO! I have stayed at many resorts all around the world and this is by far the worst customer service I ever experienced! The only saving grace was Alfredo, Marco, and Ruben at the buffet. I will give them a separate review!

Jimena and Mariana are the BEST!

This is our second time staying with friends at their time share. Of course the renovated rooms are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly, but Jimena and Mariana (with the entertainment crew) are what made are trip most memorable the first time and what we looked forward to most this time. Those two girls heard our names once and never forgot them. They are the sweetest, engaging and so much fun. The Sheraton has done a great job and knows what they are doing!
