  Great Stay with exceptional service from great staff

  My wife and I stayed at The Sheraton for a week to celebrate my wife's birthday. During this time the service from the staff was exceptional, on the second day of our stay a problem occurred for my wife in one of the restaurants that caused a skin irritation, it resulted in us having to attend the emergency hospital in Denarau for treatment. Although this was not directly their fault the way that the management and all of the staff reacted after being informed of the problem was well beyond expectations, everyone showed a genuine care for my wife's wellbeing. Whilst this could have ruined our holiday the staff at the resort went out of their way to ensure that it didn't, nothing was too much to ask, and it worked as we had a great stay and are very grateful to them all. I have hesitation in recommending this resort and are very sure that we will be returning.

  Phenomenal Service at a beautiful property

  We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property prior to boarding our NCL south Pacific cruise. The staff was so amazing and welcoming. From the time that we checked in to our departure, the service was top level. The staff made us feel like family visiting from afar. While the entire staff was top-notch, several specific members from the restaurant went above and beyond. I would like to specifically mention. Aseri and Jasilva for their attentiveness whenever we stopped in for breakfast. They provided excellent care with that special touch. Also, Yasmina always stopped by to ensure that everything was satisfactory. As part of the NCL management from the property, Rae of Rosie Holiday, was exceptional. She insured that any need that we had prior to leaving for the cruise was taken care of. Unfortunately, I cannot name everyone on the staff who was extremely helpful, but I would like to note that every single interaction was first rate.

  Sheraton Denerau villas run down

  Our family of 8 stayed in the Denerau 3 bedroom villas. The rooms are very spacious but really run down , we had rain one night and the rain was pouring into the villa entrance through a large crack in the ceiling and another leak over the dining area. Also our 18 month old caught a vomiting bug, i cleaned it up but it took 3 calls to guest services for the cleaners to come and disinfect the area and to complete our daily service, this was at 4.30 in the afternoon!! Breakfast are amazing and the staff really helpful but we found other staff not very happy. We were told the sheraton do not treat their staff very well and alot have gone to the soffitel. Staff have lost a lot of their benefits which makes me very sad to hear people being taken advantage of. We paid premium rates for very run down accommodation, some villas are starting to be renovated but it will take sometime to complete this, so I would compare resorts and be very carful on the villa you are allocated. I travel alot and am very honest on my reviews.

  Amazing Experience

  The staff here were so welcoming and did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. The buffet break fast was included in our stay, and it was amazing! We loved all the recreation activities, particularly the Aqua aerobics and the farm tour. The recreation staff were amazing - particularly thanks to Ruth (who our kids loved!) and Ratu. We would definitely stay here again, but would probably book a top floor room.

  Great for family toddlers

  We travelled with our nearly 4 year old toddlers. Check in was easy and loved the welcome champagne. Pool: We loved how safe the toddler pool here. It was big, the right height (0.8m) and plenty of pool toys around for guests to use. Our toddlers can play on the sand, or just play in the water by themselves (Less worry for adults as the whole pool was not too deep for toddlers). Compared to other resort like raddison blu, Sofitel, and Sheraton resort - this is the best pool so far for this age. Food: Food at the resort was great. 9.5/10. Breakfast was amazing - lots of selections and literally everything for everyone from Indians dosai, different noodles including laksa, pizza, omelette, fresh squeezed juices, grilled sandwiches. Lunch normally by the pool or Tatavu. Dinner at Tatavu was really good too. Our 4 year-oldeat free too ordering from the kids menu. Plenty of activities at the kids club we didn’t use the nanny service but the playground was good enough for us. Short walk to radisson blu and Sheraton villas next door. The only downside is probably the bed, we had 2x double beds in our room and not the comfiest beds I must say. Was on the softer side. We stayed at Sofitel 2 years ago it was much better bed. But with everything else take into consideration we still prefer Sheraton for the toddler pools and food etc. Overall great experience
