    El Cortez: Excellent dining experience

    Review for El Cortez. Nice place. In January was super low key. Guess it's the time of year. Our server Lucendo was excellent. Very friendly. Beach side ambiance with fireside table was beautiful. Surf and turf was muy excellente! We will definitely be back... Maybe later this week!

    Tortugas Bar - Francisco

    Thomas, manager Francisco, Lucero and Alejo and Ramone were all amazing!!! All was so wonderful. We could not have asked for more. Or every whim was taken care of. We have absolutely LOVED being here!!.......Gracia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Vacation in the sun!

    Francisco and his team at Tortuga’s are attentive, the food is good and what a view right on the beach! Hacienda’s best features are its staff, the beautiful gardens, pools, tile and stonework and fountains, and its architecture and beachfront location.

    De Cortez Grill House, Marriotts Hacienda Del Mar

    Restaurant de Cortez Grill house in Hacienda Del Mar, Marriott property was an exceptional place for my husband, and I to celebrate our first anniversary! We were looking to have a quiet, romantic, delicious meal, and were so impressed with the service, the food, ambience, entertainment ! Luendo, our waiter, was a five star professional! He was knowledgeable, courteous & just the perfect amount of fun! He detailed the remarkable specials as well as house favorites. The food was brought at a perfect pace, allowing my husband to enjoy his perfect manhattan and I my espresso martini. You’ll be treated to the best croissant outside of France!! Remarkable for sure! We selected what was a perfect wine to complement my husband’s exceptional seafood skillet (one of the nightly specials),l served in a sauce to die for, and my fillet with asparagus grilled to perfection accompanied by mashed potatoes. Food portions are very generous, so come enjoy with an appetite! Our special & complementary anniversary dessert was divine to the last bite! A pastry filled with a fruit compote of sorts, topped with the most delicious chocolate, topped with cream, and fresh vanilla ice cream to the side- divine! The musician played acoustic guitar, was romantic, classic songs & newer ones, sound level perfect, creating an environment conducive to conversation as well as enjoying his beautiful skills! 5 stars ALL THE WAY AROUND!
