We enjoyed our stay. We had a King Suite with a Bay View. Our room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was nice an cold. Staff was friendly. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so they held our luggage while we walked around Old San Juan. We were grateful for the drink coupon for the delay. We'd be happy staying here next time we cruise from San Juan.

We were dumped here by Viking to wait 5 hours to then go to airport. We're in a filthy ballroom. Bathrooms awful. Room hot. Pastries were put out that no one was eating they were unappealing. One elevator worked. Asked if there was a more comfortable place to be and gentleman told me go outside and take a walk.

Nov 15, 2024Horrible acoustics in Hallways
One elevator not working. Hot water took 10 minutes to work in shower. Noise in hallways due to doors closing and people talking is horrible. The acoustics are really bad, you hear someone breathing next door it seems. A/C vent blows right on you in the bed. I stay at Hilton & Marriott hotels every week. I would never stay here again.

I would say this hotel is a cruise ship hotel, in that it's usually packed with people boarding a cruise ship or returning home since it's next to the port. I would also say that the hotel is self service. Pulling up the car to the valet, we had to take out our own bags without help and he couldn't give us good directions to the parking lot so we ended up doing valet by default. The hotel was over crowded in the lobby. Will not be staying here again.

We were here before and after a cruise. We had booked it as a Sheraton but it converted to its current owner. It was clean, well maintained and centrally located. Our room was not ready the first check in so they gave us a food/drink voucher for the little bistro until room was ready. Great place. Will be back next time we are in old San Juan.
