Feb 07, 2025Extremely satisfied with the one day guest pass
Gerardo ensured we had all that we needed from the moment we stepped onto the resort for our one day pass. He recommended amazing drinks and was very attentive. The location was within 10 minutes walking distance of the cruise port, although slightly uphill. Luis was also there for activities and was gracious enough to allow my husband and I to do handmade bracelets although the time had passed. An amazing time lounging and enjoying the drinks and food. We were also able to see whales from the shore which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend this resort!

Feb 06, 2025Quiet, different…, cozy all-inclusive!
We went at the end of January 2025. We did the all-inclusive plan. I will start with the best part, which was Luis from Puebla, the sole person on the entertainment team. He did everything in his power to make sure we had a great time. Two highlights were bracelet making and taking us on a nearby hike. Thanks Luis!! The resort was well maintained and clean. It was very close to Cabo San Lucas and the marina; within walking distance. Despite its vicinity to the action we did not notice the noise of the city at all. It had two nice pools to sit around. We spent most of the time near the one with the pool bar because it was easier to get food and drinks at. There were two servers to get you food and drinks from around 12 until 6. There was also a nice hot tub to use for when it got cooler in the evenings. You have an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. There were countless whale sightings and gorgeous sunsets. The food was overall very good. There were no buffets at this resort. When not eating pool side you could go to the restaurant or, for dinner, the bar. The food seemed to come all from the same kitchen either way. The rooms were decent. Bathrooms were a bit outdated but functional. The beds were very comfy. We were upgraded to a suite that had a stovetop, sink, and a fridge which would be handy if not on the all-inclusive plan. The staff were all friendly for the most part. Sometimes you were almost scolded or refused service when trying to order from the pool bar directly which was odd. Overall a good experience and for the right price I would go again. HIGHLIGHTS - LUIS - service pool-side from their lunch/bar menu - drinks were delicious - spent my wife’s and I’s birthdays and they brought out special desserts - best food: sushi (spicy tuna, tempura), coconut prawns, hot wings, French toast, pizza, tiramisu -beach was quiet, no vendors, beautiful views -access to tennis, weight room, mini-golf at sister resort, Playa Grande -went out of their way to get my wife sparkling wine on her birthday after we found out they ran out the morning of! LOWLIGHTS - long-ish wait times for food/drinks, having a buffet for quick snacks and breakfast is usually a highlight of all-inclusive resorts - despite ordering each food item it felt like sometimes you were brought old things, cold/stale - being discouraged from ordering at the pool bar felt weird - you could only order food/drinks from 7am-9:30pm, and you cannot take any of the food back to your room. If you want room service or take-out then you have to pay.

Quiet and Relaxing!
Captain Luis the entertainer by the pool is the best! The rooms are nice and spacious, and the beds were very comfy in my opinion but my partner thought they were a little firm. Only. 10 minute walk into town, pleasant to walk through the marina. The beach and sunsets are beautiful!

Amazing Value!
Such an amazing deal for Cabo!! This resort is older but has undergone renovations. The all inclusive is an amazing deal, you get access to both Solmar Restaurants and the food is amazing. All the food is waiter served from the restaurants. The beach is great, it’s not swimmable as most beaches are in Cabo but still a beautiful beach. It’s next door to the Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort so you have access to so many amazing restaurants. It’s a very secure resort and all the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was the A/C could have been colder and it did not blow very hard on the highest fan setting. I would definitely stay again!

Great value
Tavor is a great bartender. Excellent resort overall for the price. Rooms are dated and pools are not heated but food, drinks, location, ambiance are all excellent. If you are looking for a long stay location at a good price, this is your spot.
