Jan 27, 2025Return Trip and DID NOT disappoint!
Our second stay at this hotel and AGAIN, a wonderful experience. First and foremost, the staff from the front desk, housekeeping and grounds keepers are the friendliest and most accommodating! There was not one encounter that wasn't a pleasure! The hotel itself is impeccably maintained. Location is perfect for walking to so many restaurants/bars/downtown. Last year AND this year, we booked for the subsequent year before leaving. No where else we'd rather stay! The Bluewater Grill has some of the best food on the island and the staff from waiters to bartenders to management are all fantastic. I would have to dig VERY deep to find any negative at all. If I had to give one, it is that the pillows definitely need replacing! VERY flat and had to use two every night. Otherwise, the bed was extremely comfortable. On another note, bring your own soap (as we always do when we travel) but all there is in the room is liquid soap and it is not that great.

Nice Short Stay
I am surprised there are very few reviews for SunBreeze. Communication with the hotel before check in was very good with them confirming details of all guests, arrival, departure times etc a few weeks before. Check in was very quick with details of pool and restaurant hours. Security seemed good with buzz-in after 10 and notes to ensure the door was latched at all times when in rooms. The hotel is in a good location to explore San Pedro and is just across the street from the airport, the ferry dock is close by as well. Our room was large, modern and clean. The pool was not busy when we were there but it was a bit chilly, (air and pool). We did not eat in the restaurant, it was busy and has a good reputation, we just wanted to try some others close by that had more "local" meals on the menu. The bar closed early, if you want a drink after 9:30, you will have to go elsewhere or stock up. San Pedro is very busy, expect to see many golf carts zooming by when you leave through the lobby. You can also leave from the waterfront area and walk to various restaurants and bars that way.

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of town and the airport, yet is quiet. The rooms are spacious and comfy. Breakfast is at the blue water grill at extra cost, but theres a good selection and is good. The place comes alive in the evening with drinks, music and themed menus. The reception team are very attentive and helpful. The pool are while small is very welcome, good for relaxing in the heat of the day.

The property met my expectations, checking in and out was seamless. At check in Ryan gave me a lay of the property and room, at check out they carried my bag to the airport. The room is spacious and well kept. I booked this trip to spend a lot of time in the water. Only downside was the pool, it’s too cold( Shivering cold ). There is a beautiful garden and you can swim nearby in the warm water. Perfect location for a solo traveler. Conveniently located to nightlife, local shops, airport , and beach access.

Great Central Location, clean and comfortable
We were very happy that we chose to stay at the Sunbreeze Hotel. It is centrally located in San Pedro so you are close to everything. It is literally a 1 minute walk from the Tropic Air airport to the hotel. The on-site dining is so convenient and the food and staff were great! The rooms are comfortable and clean - we stayed in room 120, the bed was so comfortable. We spent some time hanging out by the pool, there are a number of people around but we were always able to find a place to sit. We were also able to arrange our snorkelling trip to Hol Chan through the front desk which was very convenient. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Oh, and all of the staff are very friendly and ready to help with everything.
