Dec 19, 2024Wonderful stay at The Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas
Our room at The Atlantis, Reef Hotel had an excellent view of the beach and pool area. The staff was pleasant and courteous, our room was very clean, and the beds were superbly comfortable. The Atlantis campus was easy to navigate and a very family friendly destination.

Wonderful stay for a family celebration !
We went to Atlantis for a family celebration and we were thrilled with everything! The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. We found the beds very comfortable and the view from our balcony was perfect for the times we had tea/coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. The pools were all beautiful places to spend time with our grandchildren and the water slides and Aquadventure areas were great fun for all the kids ! The grounds were beautiful and always clean. The staff were ALWAYS friendly and they made our stay very enjoyable. They responded promptly and efficiently to any of our questions or requests. The food was expensive , so we took food with us and ate breakfast and lunch in our rooms to keep the cost down. The efficiency rooms ( The Reef) had everything we needed to prepare those meals.

This was a beautiful experience. The hotel and grounds were exquisite. The food was extremely pricey with not many options for quality food and for that reason I wouldn't return. It was a bucket list check mark and I don't regret a single moment of our trip.

Dec 03, 2024Beautiful location and people, very outdated resort
The rooms and facilities were pretty icky and outdated (frayed carpet, nicks on everything, plumbing fixtures not fully attached to walls). We were expecting high prices once we got there but it just felt bad for what you got- prepackaged pool food and very meh room service. Absurdly expensive dinners. Also the resort just felt very crowded. The staff was very friendly and beach and ocean were beautiful. Made us want to come back to the Bahamas but never back to this resort.

Nice stay
Beautiful place. This is our second visit to the Reef. It’s lovely, it’s tranquil and we had a lovely week. Few issues with the room, dishwasher didn’t work at all (handy if you’re self catering), the toilet stopped flushing, although it was fixed the next day. Other than that, it was fab. One thing worth mentioning, some of the staff are damn right miserable, like they resent your presence. It makes you feel on edge. The resort is otherwise wonderful. The housekeeper on floor 15 was excellent, nothing too much trouble.
