Apr 20, 2025The Reefs Did Not Disappoint
Our overall stay at The Reefs was excellent. It's a beautiful, traditionally Bermudian, hotel perched on a hill above an amazing beach. The rooms are well appointed and recently renovated. The lobby, bar and restaurant are all newly renovated. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food is great at their 2 restaurants - Coconuts is right at the beach and had great service and very good food. Solaris is off the main lobby and just opened when we arrived. The food is great, but the service was a bit spotty - we had to wait quite a while for our server (we also had this experience more acutely at breakfast for about half the time we were there). Our room was great - poolside with a great view of the ocean and right near the lobby area. The room was clean with good amenities - housekeeping and nightly turn down service was great. We suggested a few maintenance and upkeep items on our room in the guest survey, but were minor in the big picutre. There are lots of different room options - I would suggest calling them to find out more. While the hotel is on a hill/cliff, the access around the resort and down to the beach was actually very good - as minimal steps as possible, lots of handrails and the hotel had a golf cart to drive people closer down to the beach if needed (we did not need that).

Amazing Staff!
The staff at The Reefs is what makes this report memorable and worth visiting. While the beach area is beautiful and will maintained, the food is good but standard, and the rooms are clean but small, the staff are kind, attentive, and consistently go above and beyond expectations. Mr. Wyman in particular was very kind to our son and made the visit memorable for him (and us).

Can’t wait to come back
A stay at the Reefs is like no other The staff make you feel like an old friend back for a visit Beds are heavenly and the view from each room is stunning Will miss the sounds of waves crashing onshore as we fell asleep each night Great beach and 5 star meals Just be forewarned that not great if you are mobility challenged as there are many stairs

Excellent stay at The Reefs
The Reefs was absolutely wonderful! Spa treatments were the best. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and beach. Staff is excellent in every way. Highly recommend this resort. Good at breakfast and at Coconuts was delicious. Order the fish chowder, rockfish, Buddha Bowl!

Great homey resort with all the amenities.
Wonderful resort, on the small side. Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel at home. Facilities are great. Good food and lovely spaces-pool, hot tub, cute beach, lookout point, gym and a terrific spa. The facial was great and their the massages are amazing (which I experienced during previous visits). We had dinner on the beach one evening, which was lovely. 4pm tea time was fun. They have 4 pickleball courts and one tennis court which look brand new. We opted for more beach time. It's a 30 minute walk to the beautiful Horseshoe Bay beach.
