A fantastic 5* stay to celebrate the end of our Honeymoon
My husband and I stayed at the Kempinski Cancun hotel to round off a two week honeymoon in Mexico. We had previously stayed at the Kempinski Berlin and had been amazed at the quality, service and facilities that this hotel offered. With this in mind, we had high hopes going into our stay in Cancun. We need not have worried as we can safely say we experienced even better care, service and attention to detail. Hotel staff were friendly, personable and always willing to go above and beyond, truly making this a 5* experience. We were even welcomed with surprise honeymoon chocolates and a room upgrade which was a really lovely personal touch. In terms of the hotel itself, the design is classic luxury. The extensive beach and pool areas offer everything you need for a day of pure relaxation. We were amazed by how much space is on offer, with multiple pools and seating areas at our disposal. The beach is private and directly accessed by the pool area and is well kept. The gym is well equipped and the steam and sauna rooms a lovely addition. Breakfast was another personal highlight with many different cuisines and food options available. We were fortunate to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner (as well as room service and sunbed service!) and can honestly say we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. This really is 5* service at its best. Overall, we had a fantastic time and we are already planning our return visit. We would not hesitate to recommend the Kempinski Cancun and cannot thank the team enough for a wonderful stay.

Top Class and best beach on this side of the Hotel Zone
Having stayed in 4 Resorts (Dreams Sands, Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, Marriott Resort and the Kempinski) in Cancun over the last couple of weeks, we as a family, enjoyed Cancun very much. If you are interested in how the 4 Resorts ranked in our view please scroll down to see the comparison at the end. Coming in from the Marriott Resort just a couple of blocks down the main strip, you immediately notice the difference. Its is a different class. It is a quiet and personal resort with a grand, all marble lobby and white glove service and a beautiful beach setting. The only Kempinski in Mexico/North America. We have been here when it was a Ritz Carlton. And would come back anytime now having experienced the Kempinski "software". Although it does not look like it if you first step into this palatial lobby, this is a true beach hotel. White sand beach, mind blowing ocean colours and a super good maintained and serviced beach (what a difference to the dismal beach at the Marriott Resort), makes such a big difference in well being. We never experienced a lack of sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach or the pools (at all the other hotels the reservation game was dismal). Service was at a high level at all times. And the best: The pools are heated - in contrast to all other hotels we stayed in Cancun. Breakfast is served in a wonderful bright and uplifiting room, with all the choices one wishes. Food at all outlets was all the way good with polished service - but with comparably hight prices. Our little one also enjoyed the kidsclub which has a very motivated team - although the facility is not extremely large, but nicely equipped. Rooms: Oceanfront with balcony gives you all the colours you are looking for. They are fitted in a traditional grand hotel style. Super comfortable with a marble bathroom. However, rooms in den 2020s can be more: There I hope for more up-to-dateness. Conclusion: If we come back to Cancun this is a clear yes in this part of the Hotel Zone. Now, as promised, our Ranking: Please not - all hotels have wonderful oceans in front. Best Beach: 1. Dreams Sands 2. Kempinski (best beach on that side, big, well maintained by the crew) 3. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 4. Marriott Resort (beach narrow, full of seaweed) Best Ocean (calm waters) 1. Dreams Sands 2. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 3. Kempinski 4. Marriott Resort Best Service: 1. Kempinski 2. Dreams Sands 3. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 4. Marriott Resort Best Food: 1. Kempinski 2. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 3. Dreams Sands 4. Marriott Resort Best Kids Entertainment (all hotels have KidsClubs) 1. Marriott Resort (with wasterslide and lazy river) 2. Dreams Sands 3. Kempinski and Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Best Pool 1. Kempinski (only hotel that had heated pools, means easy in) 2. Fiesta Americana Coral Beach 3. Dreams Sands 4. Marriott Resort Calm to Busy (depending on your needs the number 4 can be right for you, too) 1. Kempinski 2. Dreams Sands 3. Fiesta American Coral Beach 4. Marriott Resort

Outstanding Hotel and Service
We stayed at the Kempinski in mid March. Our oceanfront room was lovely. The room was really clean and the housekeeping staff is friendly and does a great job. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the entire staff were wonderful. Briseida (always smiling), Angel and Osman are just three of the great breakfast employees. We sat on the beach for our entire trip. Nicholas, Antonio and Manuel set up our chairs and umbrellas and kept checking in with us throughout the day. Our beach servers Joel, Ulysses, Hazel, Martin and Edgar took great care of us. All of them were so friendly and pleasant. The concierges Danitza and Rueben booked our restaurant reservations and gave us great suggestions and ideas. We cannot wait to return to the Kempinski next March and will highly recommend it to our family and friends.

Wonderful hotel
Wonderful elegant classic hotel, all the staff is willing to help you always. The rooms are spacious and with a beautiful view to the ocean. The sushi at the D lounge is the best they have, the chef Alan Sánchez really knows his thing If you go please ask for Blanca and Oscar. At the restaurant at the pool ask for Angel he will treat you nicely and at the beach Edgar will do the same. The spa is amaizing as well, ask for Ana. I totally recommend this hotel if you want to rest and enjoy.
