Perfect Winter Escape
Just spent a wonderful four nights at the Westin. This is such a great place to warm up from a cold winter. Weather is consistently in high 70s with sun, resort is great, and the workers are fabulous! Also, so many whales swimming by the resort. Highly recommended!

Beautiful resort but eat off property
We traveled with our kids and grandkids for our 40th anniversary. We traded from HI to stay here. We were told we’d have an ocean view room in the Baja Point section but on check in we were given a room overlooking the abandoned restaurant with ocean behind it. The resort itself was beautiful and the whale activity was priceless! The restaurants food delivery was incredibly slow at every restaurant or pool we ate at. The worst experience was El Ciruelo. We went for a special dinner with the kids. Our entrees took 2 hours and 5 minutes to be delivered. Apparently all food comes from one main kitchen over in the main building. The food was almost inedible upon arrival. This was really devastating to us all to start the trip this way. However, once we figured out to eat off property the trip was saved! We found a cute place Zipper’s on the ocean 10 minutes away for a casual dinner or breakfast and went into town for a meal plus explored beautiful Michelin rated Acre and Seven Seas nearby. I don’t see us returning to this resort with so many other options available to us.

Great resort for families
We love the Westin Los Cabos. Great facilities, welcoming staff and beautiful pool where you can watch the whales swimming by! Very easy to reach from the airport, safe, clean and a short drive to great farm to table restaurants in San Jose del Cabo or boating excursions in Cabo San Lucas.

Ocean view rooms - a major disappointment
The property over all is very good. However, the rooms one pays for ocean view may turn out to be a disappointment(picture attached). I am not sure why this Mariott- Westin doesn't call it a partial ocean room like it is. Experience with the staff was good except for their manager(at the front desk) who was extremely rude. When we talked to her about the rooms' ocean view being blocked, she was not even interested in listening, after trying alot she finally made us believe that she would try and find out if we can get some points for the inconvenience of having to stay in an ocean view room where ocean is blocked by a mound of dirt. She left us waiting for there for an hour, only to later find out that she was not coming back to talk to us. This is the most absurd passive aggressive behavior experienced and not expected at 4-5 star level of property. After all we choose these properties for their reputation of quality. It seemed like they are completely aware of this issue and still get people to pay for a full ocean view room. The experience literally felt like talking to some bouncer whose job is to chase away people with this specific concern which seems to be a known issue for them. I really hope the management corrects this instead of placing bouncers to chase people away.

Worst Experience Ever
We stayed at this hotel from 1/2/25-1/9/25. without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The sound insulation in the room was absolutely terrible. I could hear every single noise from the room above—including, disturbingly, someone using the restroom. It was beyond disruptive, making it impossible to get any rest during my stay. When I reported this issue to the front desk, I expected at least some level of professionalism and a genuine effort to address the problem. Instead, I was met with an inadequate response and, shockingly, someone even joked that I could "get sleeping pills from the pharmacy." This was not only unprofessional but incredibly dismissive and disrespectful. I came to Cabo hoping for a relaxing vacation, but this hotel made it a complete nightmare. To make matters worse, there has been absolutely no follow-up from management—not during my stay, and not even after I checked out. It has been days, and I still haven't heard anything from them. This level of service is unacceptable. If you are looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay, I strongly advise against booking this hotel. They clearly do not care about their guests' experiences or concerns. Avoid at all costs!
