Great time at the Westin ESPECIALLY the "Pool Queen" ALICIA and EDGAR the waiter extraordinaire
Great time at the Westin. ESPECIALLY the "Pool Queen" ALICIA who kept all the Buffalo people entertained. The food and all-around service was great. Shout out to EDGAR the waiter extraordinaire at the sports bar and Mexican theme night...the food was amazing.

Get ready to hike.
The property is very spread out with many elevation changes and multiple elevator rides to navigate. We booked a room with an “ocean view” but the only visible ocean was a sliver of water a mile away. We were told that we had maid service but they only showed up after 2 requests. On the positive side the food and drinks were great once you got to the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. One last suggestion: don’t trust the safe in your room. We returned to our room the first night and our safe wouldn’t open. It took till the next day to open. Once open there was cash missing but management’s “investigation” showed no signs that the room was broken into and the safe had malfunctioned due to a power surge or some other issue. Go figure. Safe deposit boxes are available in the main lobby which was several hundred yards from our room so we took all of our cash and jewelry with us whenever we went out. Not a good experience.

Ocean view room without a good ocean view
The main building and the landscape is beautiful, however, be aware that although they call all their rooms “ocean view” while a lot of the rooms don’t have a good ocean view, our room locates in the east wing and you can hardly see the ocean from the room, very disappointing. Also, they don’t have lounge service or free breakfast for Marriott platinum members. Uber is not allowed to go inside and you will need to wait at the gate for a golf cart to go to the lobby. The restaurant at Baja point is great, the staff are really friendly and the view from the restaurant is gorgeous.

A true resort experience.
Gorgeous place to stay. The room, views, staff and location made our trip fabulous. We needed a vacation that was located in a quit area, the Tourist Corridor, that had the conveniences of restaurants, small market and the Westin had it. It is only 20 min from the Cabo San Lucas, very active and busy with beautiful beaches and party atmosphere, which was a fun visit for us. We enjoyed playing tennis and using the gym every morning and then laying out by pool or beach. The ocean views from poolside are gorgeous. There were some pool activities but not too many. Enjoyed a relaxing facial, steam room and sauna one afternoon. The staff are professional and friendly. Drinks and food are delicious. A true resort experience. Definitely returning!

One of the best resorts this well-traveled couple have had the privilege to visit!
My husband and I spent a week at this stunning resort. It was our first trip to Cabo, and hopefully, not our last! We are owners of weeks and points in the Marriott system, and have recently been able to book Westins. This resort is right up there with our all time top places to stay, and over 30+ years, we have stayed at many beautiful resorts. It is truly ocean front, beautifully kept up and very very friendly. I'll start with the 2 bedroom villa we were lucky to get: (note-we stayed in the "Towers", not the "Baja Point" condos) Bedrooms: the Master was spacious, with it's own balcony overlooking the sea of Cortez. The king bed was firm but very comfortable. The lighting in both bedrooms was good for reading. Not a lot of drawer space, and the closet was small. TVs in both bedrooms. The second bedroom was windowless, but since the lighting was good, I thought it was fine. Not spacious, but decent. Had a King bed. Bathrooms: excellent water pressure, toilets flushed well (not a small thing!), smallish counter space, lots of good towels, nice hot water, decent lighting. Kitchen: Quite small with little counter space, but had newish, fairly large refrigerator, small stovetop with 4 burners, full sized dishwasher, large, well-working microwave, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. Fully equipped for anything you might want to cook, just can't bake with no oven. Great gas grills outside on the property. We were told not to drink the tap water, so we didn't. We got water from the gym and the grocery store. The living area had a nice couch, ottoman, a tv (not "smart") and another balcony with the same gorgeous view. A large dining table with 4 chairs. The air conditioning worked well, and there were ceiling fans in the living area and both bedrooms. The living area could really use some better lighting, though. The balconies each have a small table and 2 chairs. It would be tight to fit 4 people on one, but doable. New washing machine and dryer in a closet. Laundry soap provided. You can get ice free from housekeeping. Our reception was wonderful. The people at this resort are so friendly and helpful! No hard cell from concierge to come to a presentation. (we passed) The swimming pools were clean and had plenty of chairs with umbrellas when we were there the first week of November. As stated in other reviews, you can't swim at the beach, but it walkable and lovely. The main pools are open until 10. There is a very hot whirlpool by the main beach area. Clean and nice. We saw lots of whales right out front in the distance and from our balcony. Bring binoculars! excellent gym, nice looking spa, but too expensive for me! We used Ubers, very easy. There is a really nice grocery store nearby. We got one "tidy service" during our week's stay, which doesn't happen at our Marriott home resort. We ate at 3 of the on-site restaurants. The food was fine, and priced as expected when eating out at places like this. The drinks are very overpriced-$15 for one glass of white wine! They do offer one hour 2 for 1 drinks by the pool, but we preferred to bring our own down in Yetis. Tennis and pickleball courts were very well kept. In fact, the whole resort seemed to be recently updated, but I don't know that. It was said to be built 30 years ago. Some activities every day led by the staff, like Bingo, Name the Tune, aerobics, etc. Our main activity was reading by the ocean, haha! There was a nice looking kid's club which we didn't go into. This was long, but I look for detailed reviews of properties on TripAdvisor, so I try to take notes at places we stay. The Westin Los Cabos was a winner for us, and I can highly recommend it.
