Beautiful oceanfront views with impeccable staff
I checked in to The Westin Resort and Spa Cancun earlier this month. I met manager Javier G. at check-in. He got me in to my beautiful ocean front room. Antonio in the lobby was very helpful throughout my stay. And I loved housekeeping and restaurant staff! Thank you! I will go back soon!

Avoid this property - Not up to Westin standards.
This is by far the worst Westin I have stayed at. The service is very bad and we were hustled into a service at the spa. The manager “Hector” was not helpful and aggressive when I brought this to his attention. The property is under construction… paint chips all over the pool area and ongoing construction noise as guest are expected to relax. I’m not sure how this place is a Marriott property… definitely not up to standard. I will not recommend. Have the General Manager “Martin Silva” contact me directly to provide a proper customer resolution.

Relax and unwind
Great onsite activities daily ranging from bingo, yoga, water aerobics, and cooking classes. Shoutouts are in order for; Manuel at the swim up bar Anna, Victoria, Generdo, Guillermo on the activities team for the cooking demonstrations and trunk making classes. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip because the staff was extremely attentive. The property was clean. If there is anything that I needed, I knew that I could reach out for assistance. This location, however, is about 10 minutes away from the main hotel zone so be prepared to take taxis, buses, or Ubers to get to the shopping area. On my last night I booked a reservation for the restaurant on property called sea and stones. The food was not very good and I was left disappointed. I thought that I was treating myself to a nice dinner however, I left unsatisfied, especially for the price I paid. I ordered the Greek salad which was full of olive oil to the point that it not edible. I also ordered the jambalaya risotto. The risotto was just rice. It was not prepared and a risotto form and the flavors were underwhelming. If I were to go back here, I would probably just order a steak and a side to be on the safe side. The sales presentation was a painless obligation that did not take up my entire vacation. Well done. The spa is also a very nice addition to your vacation if you have time to visit.

Home away from home
Love this property, we joke and say it's our second home. The second you walk in the door you're welcomed with a clean and welcoming scent. Everyone is always so attentive and eager to serve you, whether it's checking you in grabbing your luggage or greeting you with a welcome. The kids club is fantastic and my children feel so safe and comfortable with the team there. The Thanksgiving event was a wonderful added bonus, my wife and I go to escape for a few hours to enjoy a date night at sea and stones while the kids had a great time in the kids club. We've been coming to this property for the past 10 years, we've made so many unforgettable memories and friends here. The entire waitstaff is amazing, the housekeeping always does a fantastic job, everyone always goes above and beyond here we truly feel like we are being treated like royalty here. We are already counting down the days till we come back!

Cocktail Making Class
Genaro and Guillermo put on a great cocktail making class. Lots of laughs and really delicious drinks. All the staff are very helpful and kind. We would definitely do the class again and stay here again. Love the pool and beach views. Peaceful but also lots of fun activities too!
