Not a good value
Not a good value. They really oversell the place then leave you disappointed. Also, some of the ferry services do not keep information up to date on their websites and not one person at this hotel was helpful with ferry information to BVIs. The beach the hotel was situated on was not great.

First time and we will definitely be back!
We have been on the island of St. John just under 10 times and have passed by the Westin daily. When staying on the island we normally stay in a villa up in the hills. We loved that we were actually staying at a resort and the service and friendliness of the staff was wonderful.

Cruz Bay
What a fun small town.Everything is walkable. Great restaurants for such a small area. Shops are pricey but the street vendor area near the ferry has reasonable souvenirs and clothing. The Westin is about 10 minutes away and a beautiful place to stay while on the island.

Beware Marriott Owners
Checked in as Chairman members which doesn’t guarantee a better room but we were told that it “means nothing” since it’s a Westin.Assumed it was a poor choice of words but confirmed at our Time Share meet Marriott doesn’t matter here.Surprised

Second Time Back to the Westin Resort St John
This is our second trip to St John Westin Resorts during high season. Awesome place to stay. We were well taken care of from time we landed at the St Thomas airport through when were dropped off back at the airport (STT). They even have a hotel check-in desk at the airport. Cool! These are time shares so likely you'll need to go through a broker. We used stjohncondos.com as our broker this trip and got personalized attention from Amie and Kevyn. Make sure you get the Marriott Reservation number otherwise the front desk can't help you. The property has its own rental car desk. You'll need to make reservation *well* in advance for a Jeep. The Westin does have a taxi stand if you don't want to drive and fight for parking at the beaches. Beaches are simply amazing. Trunk Bay is #1 in Caribbean. Dining out in Cruz Bay was fun times. We will review the five or so restaurants, so look for our reviews here. Make dinner reservations at least a week out. Absolutely a fun trip the second time around. We are already looking at next February for #3.
