There is nothing resort- like about this property

Manage your expectations - this is now just an aging condo complex. Rooms are dated with stained furniture and the one restaurant is terrible. We stayed here years ago when it was a Westin hotel and couldn’t believe the decline. This is not a resort. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. For the price, we would have been better off booking a spacious private villa with beautiful views.

St. John Westin property hot mess

While island folks are wonderful the Westin vacation club is a hot mess Their owner services messed up our reservation as we are owners and did nothing to remedy the situation They try to sell more time but they are so confused when you own more than one site on property They got our reservation backwards Will never buy more time here in St. John or any other products Marriott sells

    Another wonderful week in paradise...

The Wesin is beautiful, the rooms/villas are more than comfortable, and the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It is the islands, so one has to be patient at times, but it's the best place on St. John now that Caneel Bay is gone.

    Beautiful, Expensive

I came here as the owner of a timeshare using my Points and it was my first time on the property. I was delighted to be met at the airport and escorted to St. John’s. The fairy comes right to the hotel dock. You greeted with a rum punch. The bed was super comfortable. The villa was impeccable. So nice to have a washing machine and dryer right in the apartment. I had a problem with the AC. It was too cold in the room and they fixed it immediately. I was in building 12 on the second floor. It is not possible to walk anywhere from here. There’s one tiny market. You can get some groceries at but you really you need to take a taxi or Rent-A-Car. It was easy to get a taxi from the hotel to go snorkeling on the other side of the island. The facilities were well-maintained clean the staff was friendly. I totally agree with the reviews that say the food is overpriced. Everything on the island is overpriced. Prepared to spend $100 per person per day if you’re buying food from the restaurants. Alcohol at least $15 $20 per drink.

I would definately book this resort again

The accommodations were excellent with plenty of space for our family of four. We had three bedrooms, a living and dining area, a kitchen and three bathrooms. The accommodations were private and surrounded by a walled in area with a locked gate. We also had a private pool with jacuzzi. The only negative about this resort is the difficult of purchasing groceries which required a short walk to a grocery store which did NOT have a large variety of items and was quite expensive. We eat out in Cruz Bay at local restaurants several evenings by taking a taxi to the town. The taxi fares are reasonable to and from Cruz Bay. Another negative - watch out for sand fleas on the beach. We came home with lots of itching
