I would definately book this resort again

The accommodations were excellent with plenty of space for our family of four. We had three bedrooms, a living and dining area, a kitchen and three bathrooms. The accommodations were private and surrounded by a walled in area with a locked gate. We also had a private pool with jacuzzi. The only negative about this resort is the difficult of purchasing groceries which required a short walk to a grocery store which did NOT have a large variety of items and was quite expensive. We eat out in Cruz Bay at local restaurants several evenings by taking a taxi to the town. The taxi fares are reasonable to and from Cruz Bay. Another negative - watch out for sand fleas on the beach. We came home with lots of itching

Rats! Wish it had been a restful stay.

There was a rat in our room. When we told the front desk, the response was not “we are sorry to hear this.” It was instead, “Why didn’t you call us?” At 2:00 am? Watch your feet at the pool. The chicken poop on the walkways around the pool are slick. Don’t set your drink down by the pool. The iguana came up behind me and dove right into mine for the orange. The staff just laughed and said, “they love the fruit”. I love animals and outdoors. I love to hike. But c’mon Westin, this is billed as a posh PEOPLE hotel at $500+ a night. I’ll camp if I want to be with nature. The bed was heavenly but I didn’t sleep waiting for the rat to run across it. Sorry for the whiney review but the rat was the 3rd event in our 36 hour stay.

    Great 7 day stay!

7 nights in a 2 bed 2 bath condo, bldg 22. Loved the unit, has everything we needed for 3 adults and could easily accommodate 4 comfortably. Cooked quite a few nights as we had long days out and about. No oven but two burners and a microwave plus Bbqs all around and very nice ones. Staff all amazing! Super friendly. Tried both restaurants, Lemongrass was very good, Snorkels what u expect from poolside cafe. Lot of older couples and kids and grandkids. Being on beach side of road a plus, requested it when I did online checkin. Pool was crowded but nice. Beach is man made and not best place to swim or snorkel. Convenient place to stay, we hit up all the main beaches, shopped downtown. Took jost van dyke trip with Cruz bay water sports from dock at hotel and my husband took fishing boat out from there too, super convenient and both great trips. Wish we had done the Virgin Gorda trip too! Highly recommend this property!

    Sea Vista VIlla -Fish Bay

The good of this villa is that the view is stunning, and the outdoor pool deck is fabulous! The bad is that it needs some TLC. Inside overall could of been cleaner. At the price point which was $6 grand a week for off season I would expect it to have nicer furniture and appliances that worked. The fridge seal was broke the entire trip and it was a chore to keep food cold or not frozen. It was a 3 bedroom, but they should bill it as a 2 bedroom as the bottom floor bedroom was awful. Smelled of Mildew, run down and outdated. They had a leak in the ceiling and roughly patched with cement and left it like that. When it rained water ran down the wall in the bathroom. This room is not fit for guests. Communication with guests was also not the best. I sent a message to the house manager 2 days before we left that our air in the living area was not work. I received a response that said OMG and an emoji but no offer to fix it. One of the bedrooms upstairs has open air in the shower. There is no way to close off hte shower from the rest of the bathroom so it was hot and sticky in the bathroom the entire time. Also there wasn't a covering on this window so if you have guests downstairs their stairs walk right past the shower giving them a view of anyone taking a shower. We complained about that and suggested a shower curtain and rod which they did bring so we could at least ensure privacy. There was no greeter to meet us, no welcome basket as most place of this price point provides on island. With a little TLC this could be a great place but until then they should charge accordingly. Beware when renting, the pictures they show do not highlight the issues.

    Beautiful resort

Our original room in the upper area building 34 felt like staying in a camp ground in a tropical resort.. the room was dated but did have a view of Cruz Bay. The time it takes to call and wait for a cart to take you to the main resort pool, beach and restaurants was not what we wanted to experience at this resort. No one at the front desk mentioned this to us that we would have to call to get a cart at check in. We were not happy and were moved to a different unit in the main resort building 23 and it was an outstanding experience all around. The grounds, beach and pool are kept up beautifully.
