This was our third trip back to Unico and it didn’t disappoint. The staff including our local host, Eduardo and the many service staff from restaurants to cleaning staff were terrific! The location is starting to look dated and requires upgrades.

Wonderful resort. Amazing food! Relaxing, peaceful and super accommodating all inclusive adults only resort! Staff were all excellent! Butlers Carlos and Eddie are top notch and went above and beyond! We will be retuning to Unico soon! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel!!
I have stayed at several all inclusive resorts around Mexico (Club Med, Iberostar, Barcelo), including adults only (Valentin Imperial), and this is by far my absolute favorite! The level of quality, service, food, rooms/grounds/pools, nothing is missing or needing improvement. Raul was an excellent concierge and he reached out often and helped with any requests we had during our week's stay. We stayed in a swim up room facing the ocean, and it was very quiet and serene to start and end our day here. While we didn't swim in the water here (it was March and the swim up's water was chilly - possibly b/c it only has morning sunshine facing east); we loved ordering room service every morning with coffee and pastries and sat on the swim -up patio to enjoy the sunrise. At the end of the day when we were finished at the pool, we sat in the swings on this patio listening to music and sipping a drink. The restaurants were excellent quality, we liked sitting outside at the Steakhouse the best, and then the Italian restaurant. We were very happy with the buffet for breakfast as well, and did try the Italian restaurant's sit down breakfast too (loved the fresh juice cart). We left 2 days for very early excursions and ordered room service (5am and 6am) and both times the food arrived right on time, which was a relief so we could fuel up for the long day adventures. Pool - we spent one day at the main pool area (the west pool was a bit more calm than the swim up pool), but what we really loved was the "quiet pool" which has another swim up bar. This was a more mellow couple's vacation for me, but I also LOVE a group party vacation and if you want the lively socializing, the swim up pool is happening! Thanks so much to Diego and Isaias for setting up our chairs the 1st day at the pool and securing our favorite spot each morning at 9am!! Loved seeing them each morning, they helped us find pool floats and made sure we were happy with our service throughout the day. Alam, Lorena, Juan and Fernando at the quiet pool were all excellent too! A few other staff members to appreciate were Karla at the Steakhouse, Lucia at the pizza bar, Alfredo bartender, and Sebastian! Everyone really had a friendly smile and we enjoyed chatting with the staff.' We cannot wait for the Unico in Nuevo Vallarta to open as that area is where I vacation the most in Mexico. And we hope to get back to this hotel again as well! (bit longer trek for us coming from California).

Uniquely Amazing
Great experience from start to finish. Food and drinks are NOT what you would expect from an all inclusive. So elevated so delicious. Amazing cocktails service at the restaurants was top tier. You could eat drink whatever you want and no getting sick. My LH Aguirre was so helpful and was also available for whatever we needed. He planned a beautiful birthday celebration for one of our friends If you want to be quiet and relax there’s a pool for that as well as a lively pool with a si that threw a great party. Spa was amazing. If I could add something it would be more outdoor seating near the main bar area or just outdoor seating in general that’s not pool side.

Restful and Enjoyable stay
Unico is a special resort. The service is always excellent. The staff is very attentive and the facility is always clean and well maintained. My butlers Alexander and Alejandro made are trip seamless and carefree. We frequented the quiet pool Escondida and Amid the pool concierge was amazing. By day two he knew our names, our chairs and took great care of us. One other person stood out during our trip, Gabrielle, a server at 2087. We requested her at breakfast and lunch.
