Dec 20, 2024Honeymoon trip! Would recommend to anyone!
We went on our honeymoon to UNICO 2087. I did a lot of research on my own to try to find the right place for us & I’m so glad I did because it was everything we wanted and more, we will definitely be coming back! It’s definitely a luxury resort & was affordable for the quality of service and experience you receive. From the stunning views, the GREAT food, over the top service, and just beautiful resort, it’s really an amazing place. Every single person there was so kind & we had a great host, Laura. I can’t wait until we come back!

Couples trip
Great service overall, very friendly and courteous staff. Clean rooms and pools. I enjoyed the restaurants and most were easy to get into. My only complaint is the pool was cold, wish they would warm it up. I would come back, enjoyed the trip.

The most relaxing, incredible 6 days in paradise!
Our stay at Unico was incredible! The swim up room was a great choice. The restaurants were all fantastic, everyone is so helpful and hospitable. A walk on the beach each morning was beautiful. They offer something for everyone. Multiple pools. The swim up bar service was fantastic! Our butlers, Alexander & Alejandro were the BEST! We’re already looking forward to going again.

Overall a very enjoyable vacation, smaller resort, very clean and modern. Beds were very comfortable and rooms clean and modern. Modern decor and furniture does not always translate into good and comfortable and often found the seating in the waiting areas, lounges and restaurants uncomfortable. Service was generally good but not 5 diamond excellent. There were definitely some deficiencies. (I can comment on some though that stood out - Laura and Rodrigo as butlers, Lucia at the pool, waiter at the Italian restaurant and Inez coffee bar and every one working there was excellent!) Food options were very good mostly but really missed the option of a dinner buffet which they don’t have, everything was themed ala carte eg Steakhouse Grill, Italian - 4 restaurants to choose total. Would say 50% of food was excellent, 30% very good and 20% mediocre. Pools and beach all very nice / excellent facilities, well maintained and never difficulty in finding chairs and recliners. We are Legendary members with 10 year Hall of Fame / VIP status and joined as part of the original Palace membership in 2010. We have not regretted our membership and have enjoyed our many trips and stays at various Hard Rock and Legendary resorts. Also happy to return however will not encourage an upgrade to any Hall of Fame level. It is a LOT of money with subpar service upgrade from our experience. There are often service misses in this area and sales over promises and under delivers and we can no longer trust them to keep their word to fix or deliver. Too often get told sorry, we are not perfect, but they do nothing to rectify despite what they say, or show any remorse or indication they value us as HOF members. Go with an open mind and enjoy, and I will recommend this resort (especially nice as adults only) but don’t be hypnotized by their 5 Diamond spiel and think carefully before opening up you wallets to upgrade your membership if you have one.

Time away with friends!
First time at this resort and we were very happy !! The food was diverse and very good and the service was fantastic! We weee lucky to have Roger and Israel help us with anything we needed and even though I was under the weather a little I was still able to enjoy the time with my wife and friends!
