Nov 18, 2024Excellent Resort
We stayed for 11 nights in late October into November 2024. Our room at the Golden Pool was excellent and was serviced to a great standard every day. We had requested a king sized bed in advance however this was not possible but on checking we were informed we could move rooms after 3 nights, this we did and it was an easy stress free process. In general all the meals were good, some excellent with only one or two poor which over 11 nights is almost to be expected. We mostly had breakfast at the newly renovated Le March buffet restaurant which was excellent both in terms of choice, quality and service. we also had two lunches at Le March which are also buffet and of similar quality to the breakfasts. We visited all the restaurants for evening meals our personal favourites being Ginger (Japanese ) and L'Alsace (French) but we suspect this is down to personal taste and meal choice rather than a great difference in quality between all the restaurants. We had to wait 15-30 minutes for a table on a few occasions but this was no inconvenience given the proximity of the bars and their buzzer system to alert you that your table is ready. We spent most of our pool time around the Golden Pool where we found ample seating and shade and the service from the very hard working servers is excellent. Although we walked along the beach we do not tend to spend time sitting on the beach. The only negative for us was the quality of the drinks, we found the house wine satisfactory, but the made up drinks and beer choice were below our expectations. However overall we would highly recommend this resort , the ambiance both around the impressive public buildings and the well maintained grounds is great and for us the size of the resort was a plus rather than a negative, we did not feel the need to call for a lift at any time , other than to deliver our cases. Our holiday was enhanced throughout by the friendly personable interactions with all the staff they are incredibly hard working and deserve to be tipped well. Our holiday was mainly to meet up with great friends from Florida who we met at a neighboring resort several years ago and with whom we always have a great time. Mark & Rhonda

We will be returning
The whole resort was beautifully maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved that the go team went around the pool each morning and introduced themselves to the staff. The entertainment the go team provided all day at the pool was great, they had everything from exercise to pool volleyball and crafts. The restaurants were all amazing and we loved the sports bar. The magic show was great! We traveled in a group of 10 (5 couples) and the restaurants accommodated us by placing us at tables close to each other which was great. The rooms were cleaned daily and we had turn down service everyday. Room was super comfortable and the bed was comfortable. Room service was amazing.

This was our 12th visit to VIM and it was once again a Great Experience!! From the food, service, staff and grounds, VIM did not disappoint!! Planning our next trip for next year!! Thank VIM and all your Staff!

Exceptional resort with exceptional staff
We stayed at the Valentin Imperial for one week. The resort is one of the best we visited so far. 1- all the staff are super nice and very professional from front desk, room service all restaurant waiters and hostesses. I don’t want to forget any names, every single staff member at the Valentin were smiling, friendly and went out of there way to make us enjoy our stay 2- the food at the 6 a la cart restaurants and the buffet was amazing. We enjoyed the see bass and the octopus. The coffee served delicious ice cream and not to forget the coffee 3- the piano bar lounge offered quiet and time and a wide selection of martini drinks, the nightly entertainment, live band and DJ provided lively atmosphere. 4- the ground is perfectly maintained. We spend hours walking and admiring the garden and wild life. The resort offered endless way to enjoy our vacation It is a must stop on your vacation plan. We will be visiting again next year and many more.

Beautiful Hotel
We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. There’s incredible food available at several à la carte restaurants as well as a buffet restaurant. The scenery is stunning – we loved the “jungle vibe” as we walked around the hotel grounds, where you'll encounter plenty of adorable and friendly animals. The service is exceptional, with staff always nearby to help with anything. Our room was cleaned twice daily. We also enjoyed the diverse entertainment shows offered during the day and evening. Occasionally, we felt bad for the staff due to a few rude and impolite guests (mostly from the US). We will definitely visit again!
