Lovely stay and car rental service

My family and I had a wonderful time at the resort. The staff were great and very attentive. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the fact the hotel was located in a more quiet area of the island. I also want to recognize George from Blue Horizon Car rentals. George was very friendly , easy to work with and informative. He provided parking recommendations for every village we went to which was so helpful. I highly recommend using them if you need to rent a car.

Bonvoy folks may want to think elsewhere…

Titanium Elite member here with extensive travel and a loyal Marriott guy. My stay was mediocre at best… Not only did they give me the worst possible room on the resort but it was almost like a diff level of service or atleast that’s how I felt. Maybe it was because I used points for a portion of my stay, which I earned by spending $$$ with Marriott brands. Upgrades were requested and they were available ( I searched the availability on the app and there were MULTIPLE other options)but my room was a Dorian suite here the loading dock with so much noise and loud talking from the staff it totally took away from relaxing in the room or early lazy mornings in the bed. Now, for the good, the restaurant staff at both breakfast and lunch and most of all at the onsite dinner spot were absolutely outstanding and the food was phenomenal. If doing it over I would choose another resort and spend less time in Santorini as well. I’ve stayed at a few Luxury Collection hotels around the world and have never had this level of service with a well earned status and my requests for upgrades.

    A+ Experience

I absolutely loved this property. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The amenities were great. The restaurants were delicious. I appreciate the hospitality and atmosphere of Vedema. It’s a great location and you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants. You definitely should check this property out. My wife and I really enjoy ourselves.

    Gorgeous Vedema

Beautiful resort and relaxing location right in the heart of Megalochori. We stayed in an Aegean Suite with hot tub, sun loungers and table in an enormous outside space. The room is immaculate obviously very new with doors to the balcony so lots of air. I say room it's more like a house and could happily have stayed there longer. Everything about the hotel makes it feel special the way the accommodation is laid out and the fantastic service. Everyone goes out of their way to help. The WhatsApp chat with the hotel is really convenient way of requesting anything. Breakfast a la cart with lots of greek choices on the menu which we managed to work our way through. Lovely welcome every morning and very accommodating. Megalochori is a traditional village with a winery and a few family run tavernas to choose from. You will see a few tour groups during the day but it never feels over crowded. Easy to get public transport to Fira, Perissa and Akrotiri. Bus stop is outside the bakery to go to Fira no sign. There is a signed bus stop opposite to go to Perissa/Akrotiri. Bus times are very relaxed and the bus terminal in Fira is a bit manic. There is a little kiosk where you can ask which bus you need. Costs 2-3€ per person per trip and pay on the bus usually. The bus to Oia very busy so don't be surprised if you have to try a couple before you get on. We got a taxi back from Fira one evening, taxi rank behind the bus station up some steps cost 25€. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a super relaxing location, gorgeous accommodation and great service.

    Beautiful hotel with superior service

We stayed there in September 2024 — excellent hotel - the food was very good, the suite was superb and the service was brilliant! We took the Aegean Suite and jt was beautiful - in fact, the entire hotel was really good - as far as service is concerned, i have not seen better service in any other hotel in Europe for a very long time — all the staff - whether it was the concierge, the reception staff, the cleaners, the people at the restaurant — all of them — professional, cordial, attentive - very good. Thank you to all the people in the hotel - please keep up the brilliant work that you guys are doing!
