Nov 21, 2024Sales Pitch Ruined an Entire Day
The resort is beautiful and clean but I was very disappointed that the sales pitch consumed half of my first day of vacation after being told it wouldn't last longer than 40 minutes. Additionally, there were scheduling issues with our activities.

Very nice staff. Food mediocre to excellent. Lots to do and see. Adults only bar and pool,area appreciated. Beautiful sun rises and sun sets

Bring your happy! Fabulous place, 3 resorts in one. You will not be disappointed. El Cid is tucked in behind the village of Puerto Morelos over looking the ocean, $10 taxi ride from the property. Great food. Easy to walk about. Some of the most friendly people in Mexico.

Great place for a relxing vacation
We had a great experience. My daughter got married there, and the entire staff was wonderful. It was also a very relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, November is not fishing season.

Not Happy
Wehave been coming there for the last 7 or 8 years now and it seems no matter how far in advance we book we are never put in the bldg we request - Why? The butlers we had could have had much more contact with uswe never quite knew if they followed through on the few requests we had or not. Not happy!
