Our couple trip was amazing .They really take good care of us . We will for ever be thankfull to Captain Ricardo, chef Carlos and Christian our waiter Emiliano and the beautifull hostess Jashia , who has always a beautiful smile on her face. Thank you guys for the amazing experience and we will be back!!!!

Hotel was lovely - right beside the beach. 2 pools and it is hard to get a lounger beside the main one but usually could get one beside the quieter one or there was lots of loungers on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Right beside a shopping centre - la Isla, across from a food court and a few minutes walk from a supermarket. 15 minute taxi ride to the romantic district. Kids club had great art and craft classes but no play area. Lesly was our favourite at kids club and she was amazing with my two kids. Great English and happy to be engaging with the kids there. Restaurants on site seemed nice but not a lot for kids to eat if they are picky like ours!

What a lovely place. The staff make all the difference. Arath and Diana on the Activities staff are above cut above. Joaquin serving around the pool was lovely. Rosario kept our room perfect! Thanks for great service. Note that you can decline the 90 minute (4 hour) timeshare tour that is offered when you arrive.

A perfect way to spend a week
The staff and facilities are amazing. We had a small issue with the room when we checked in but was quickly corrected. Arath, Diana , Jei and Charly made the entertainment even better. They were so very welcoming and made everyone feel a part of the team!! Rosario made our room feel like home!

Awesome Pool Concierge
Alfredo our Pool Concierge is TOP NOTCH!! Friendly, Fun and Attentive. Helps make the experience here that much better. Villa Del Palmar is one of the older properties but it’s fun, perfect access to the beach, kept super clean and staff very friendly.
- AdvisoryBeginning May 6th the hotel is removing the Villa del Mar section of the hotel to construct new buildings. The construction site will be closed off to minimize noise. Some locations and services of outlets may change from time to time. Scheduled completion is 2027.
